Ratings update just came out a mere four days before the tournament. A couple of emails have been sent. PDGA Rules 2.02 - Exceptions, A.2 leaves some room for discretion.

What's included in the AM player's pack?

Matt Knight   November 9, 2020 at 6:33pm

A NewEra Pro9 Hat with the Trailblazer logo, a neck gaiter with Lake County Disc Golf design, and a disc out of the tournament inventory. I posted pictures of these items on the Lake County Tournament Facebook page.

We are keeping a close eye on the projections. As of right now it looks like we will have playable conditions on Saturday. We will continue to watch the projections and will be working to make sure that everyone is safe and if any tough decisions need to be made, we will make sure all players know.

When do we get the information for the players meeting? I checked my emails and I never got anything about the online players meeting and its supposed to be tomorrow.

Ken Bess   November 6, 2020 at 9:40pm

I don't believe there is any online players meeting tomorrow, the post in the About for tomorrow states that in the week leading up to the tournament which starts tomorrow they will be posting a virtual players meeting. I don't believe there is any actual online meeting tomorrow.

Chuck Hodge   November 6, 2020 at 10:19pm

Oh I saw virtual players meeting at 12pm so I guess I misinterpreted that somehow. Thanks.

Matt Knight   November 7, 2020 at 2:46am

Sorry about any confusion. We will be posting a video by Monday or Tuesday. There will be no "live" players meeting.

Jeremy Feingold    November 3, 2020 at 4:16pm

Hey there, is it possible to get a refund? Attempted using the link via email and did not work.

Thank you and sorry for any inconvenience.

Samantha Murray   November 3, 2020 at 4:22pm

The link sends me an email and then I have to process. Should be all set!

Todd Belrose    November 3, 2020 at 12:35am

How do I know which pool I’m in for MA2?

Matt Knight   November 3, 2020 at 12:55am

We will post that information by Wednesday after registration closes.

Jeffrey Smith    November 2, 2020 at 9:51pm

Is there any possibility of any part of B-Pool, specifically ma60, moving the last round to Hiawatha if intermediate doesn’t fill ?

Matt Knight   November 2, 2020 at 10:13pm

I am very hesitant to make adjustments to the schedule this late. It's also difficult to accommodate one division and not others.

Robert Montgomery    November 2, 2020 at 5:39pm

Can you put Rob montgomery and Randy Jones in same pool (MA2) so we travel together . Thanks.

Samantha Murray   November 2, 2020 at 7:07pm

The PDGA requires pool splits be done by rating, so we cannot guarantee a specific pool. The courses are only 7 miles apart though, so carpooling should still be possible.

lorna holtz    November 1, 2020 at 10:14pm

Can you change me from 50plus to intermediate women? Thank you

Samantha Murray   November 1, 2020 at 10:59pm

Hey Lorna! I see you made the change already, so all set!

Caleb Flack    November 1, 2020 at 5:06am

Will there be the new roped off OB on hole 7 at PPP or just the normal OB up the left side?

Kevin Nollmeyer   November 1, 2020 at 6:12pm

Wondering the same

Samantha Murray   November 2, 2020 at 2:17am

Just the normal ob on the left side and also behind the basket. Both are marked with a string line and we will change the sign out to reflect that.

Ken Sapp    November 1, 2020 at 3:20am

what's the odds of opening more rec spots?

Matt Knight   November 1, 2020 at 3:13pm

Unfortunately, pretty low because we have to accommodate nine hole courses. We will consider our options if things don't fill, but it's a little tricky. We could possibly have some cards of five but we were looking avoid having to do so.

Dan Lewis   November 6, 2020 at 12:42am

Ken, jump into MA2. You can compete with those guys, plus you get to play Champions Pointe!

Lucas Gonzalez    October 28, 2020 at 1:44am

Hello, I’ve never played these courses and wanted to know which courses MA3 all play so I can familiarize myself with them.

Thank you in advance.

Matt Knight   October 28, 2020 at 2:12am

MA3 plays Lincoln Ave West, Palmetto Trails DGC, and LakeHawk DGC. There is a schedule of rounds and tee pad assignments in the "pictures" section of this page.

Lucas Gonzalez   October 28, 2020 at 3:04am

Thank you Matt!

Mark Kistner    October 28, 2020 at 12:35am

What courses are MPO playing? Thanks

Samantha Murray   October 28, 2020 at 12:49am

Champions Pointe at Lake Hiawatha and Palmetto Trails in Eustis. You can check the photo section for layout assignments!

Samantha Murray   October 28, 2020 at 12:49am

Only one spot left for the pool if you're interested.

Norm Cole    October 26, 2020 at 7:22pm

Howdy! I am 50. Have never played a tournament. Have been playing casually for a few years. Any suggestions on what division to register for?

Norm Cole   October 26, 2020 at 11:56pm

Thanks! Will do!

Polish Power   October 27, 2020 at 11:44am

Don't forget to familiarize yourself with the pdga rules and competition manual, as you will be expected to know and abide by A-tier sanctioned standards. En lieu of this first time sanctioned play, I highly recommend playing in a non-worlds division. It would be more fair for those competing.

Ashley Shirley    October 25, 2020 at 10:27am

Hey I signed up for novice instead of novice women. Can i change divisions?

James Thrift    October 23, 2020 at 12:45am

Will pads and baskets be updated beforehand in UDisc?

Matt Knight   October 23, 2020 at 2:08am

All the courses except Lake Hawk are on UDisc and that course should be on there by tournament time. We will be using PDGA live scoring during the event, which will provide distances for all courses and will reflect the layout your card is playing. .

James Thrift    October 20, 2020 at 9:53pm

So with regard to Nature Park- are we playing same layout twice? Never been, but see it’s only 9 holes.

Samantha Murray   October 20, 2020 at 10:06pm

Yes, Licoln Ave. and Nature Park are both 9-hole courses and will be played twice around for 18 total on the same layout. That's why we have the MA2 pool split for the first two rounds.
