Barwick is in the modified temp layout that was put in place in November after the storm season flooded out 6 of the holes for months. Barwick is now in discussion with the City to be redesigned to mitigate future flooding issues; hence, why it is not back to it's traditional layout already. ... more

Awesome is it the “tournament” layout under Classic Layouts on UDisc?

Matt Schenk   January 5, 2023 at 6:31am

It is titled "Barwick Temporary Layout" and it is the only Classic layout available currently for the Barwick course on UDisc.

Ben Gillis    December 9, 2022 at 5:04pm

Any idea when layouts will be posted so we can start practicing the correct layout for the tournament?

Same here

Matt Schenk   December 10, 2022 at 8:22pm

I will have this finalized and posted over the next couple of weeks. Pin placements will likely have some changes between Christmas and New Years but only Open & Advanced will play long tees (alpha), all other divisions short tees (alpha) to red baskets and only 1 tee on Barwick playing to red baskets for all divisions.

Improve Your Lie Lifeline --is this a one time thing or can you continuously use it?

Michael Harrison   December 5, 2022 at 12:57am

i would think it is a one time lifeline thing correct?

Zachary Smith   December 6, 2022 at 3:33pm

Hey Michael, this is going to be a one-time use of up to a certain distance, (probably one meter) to improve your lie.

Big Matt Hodges    November 29, 2022 at 2:44pm

In regards to layout are we all playing the same thing or is it division based?

Zachary Smith   December 6, 2022 at 3:33pm

It will be division based and we should have that posted within the next couple of weeks.

Zachary Smith    November 28, 2022 at 7:56pm

36 more spots added! We will not be expanding past 180 players, so get signed up now if you want to play!

I see that Paul Macbeth will be in Port Richey for the Sun King event, I would imagine Paul will not be there.

Terry Brinson    November 9, 2022 at 2:12am

Is this considered a pdga sanctioned event or can we play up divisions and not get hurt for it?

Bob Harner   November 9, 2022 at 3:23am

Per the about section: This tournament is unsanctioned, but please use your best judgment when choosing your division.

Curious when regular signup is it keeps making you choose the sponsorship for both of us

Matt Schenk   November 1, 2022 at 10:26pm

Early Registration runs through November 8th at 6pm after which regular registration begins without the sponsorship requirement.

Austin Wolf   November 1, 2022 at 11:34pm

Did you mean Intermediate Mixed Doubles versus Womens doubles? Seemed strange that all the other divisions had a mixed except Intermediate.

Zachary Smith   November 1, 2022 at 3:47pm

Hey Steve, we wanted to make sure there was one all women's division as well as mixed divisions. Just wanting to give multiple options for people to choose their favorite friend to play with!

Bob Harner    October 9, 2022 at 10:24pm

This looks really fun and for a good cause. I cannot wait to get more details!!!
