Birdies for Bob - Celebrating a Legend presented by So-No-Problem DGC
About this tournament
Our disc golf community lost one of the good ones recently with the passing of Bobby Castille. His infectious smile and overall outlook on life always meant Bobby was ready to have fun, lend a helping hand whenever and make new friends wherever he went. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
Join us on Saturday November 18th for an epic 27-hole doubles tournament at Willmore and the Graveyard to give Bobby a proper STL send off. All online signups will receive a custom stamped memorial disc along with a shot to win one of the 27 CTPs that will be on the course. That’s right, every hole will have CTPs on them. All proceeds from the tourney (after payouts and cost) will go to Bobby’s family and to help preserve his legacy for years to come. Specifically, the family have decided to put proceeds towards a bench in Bobby’s honor in Tower Grove Park. He spent countless hours walking and playing ultimate there. The bench will give family and friends a place to gather and soak in Bobby’s spirit.

Flex start: must tee off at Willmore between 7a-10a.
Cost: $60/team
Breakdown of money per team:
-$20 for discs and tourney costs
-$20 to payouts (pro and am divisions)
-$20 to the benefit
We will also be having a raffle and 50/50 to help raise as much money as we can for the cause.
