Frankenmuth Disc Golfers,
During this COVID-19 health crisis, many people are concerned about potential ways in which the disease could be spread. One concern that we are receiving is about disc golf, and people using the course, is that they are not following health recommendations and physical distancing expectations.

While disc golf can be a good, safe recreational activity during this time, we want to remind you of some health precautions to follow:
Go out only if you are feeling healthy.
Maintain distancing of at least 6 ft. between people.
No groups or congregating.
Groups of people should only be those that live together.
Use hand sanitizer before and after touching any public surface.
We would like to keep the baskets in place and the disc golf course open. However, if people are using the course without following recommendations, we may need to take action.

If you see people using the course that are not following health recommendations and physical distancing expectations, please say something to them (from a distance). Not only could they be putting people's health at risk, they also may be putting use of the course in jeopardy.

Thank you for your cooperation during this unprecedented time.
Stay healthy.

I am 61 years old and my doctor gave me the okay to play. That being said I will not play if I see multiple groups on the course. We the disc golfers, not the City of Frankenmuth are responsible for each other besides other park goers. Look at the Disc Golfer's Code of conduct and do not put down city officials.
