First i would like to thank you all for the support in this event.
A3 after request from the TD Mika Perez and Co-TD Jessica Ferris that the $10 fee be waived for day of, a policy which has been a club policy for just short of decade for all sanctioned events, and has become common for most clubs and events, we have voted unanimously to waive the fee.
A3 in order to continue to support the women in this event have decided to waive day of $10 fee entirely, my apologies for the response time it is hard to get a vote together over a tournament weekend that many of our members were either playing or helping host an event this weekend.
I also want to let players know A3 commitment to this event was established when the tournament was posted there, the $500 added cash is donated by A3 for this event, we are doing our best to support what we think is the best thing for this sport, womens involvement in community.
The player pack items are still arriving this week bringing our clubs total investment into the event to well over $1500 to make this event something really special for all of you.
We posted all of the event info months ago in hope the fees and cost would be well understood long before the week leading to the event. I am sorry if there was any confusion but i am excited to have you all there and look forward to this great event.
Thank you so much for the support and hopefully see all of you Sunday.
I dont meet a lot of women golfers so I am excited to meet all if you next weekend! :)
thanks for dropping the late fee. a start in the right direction. I must say, many clubs have a $5 day of fee, but I have yet to see another club with a $10 fee for not registering a whole week prior. I guess I haven't played hardly any A3 events so I'd never seen such a high fee before.
Understandable, not sure how to take any more steps in the right direction on this event we currently have invested far more than any of our other events for the year excluding No Foolin, with full knowledge of a expected small turn out we all voted to do it big or dont do it, it isnt fair that wome ... more
Understandable, not sure how to take any more steps in the right direction on this event we currently have invested far more than any of our other events for the year excluding No Foolin, with full knowledge of a expected small turn out we all voted to do it big or dont do it, it isnt fair that women are so poorly represented in the state and there are little to no events that provide a great player pack and large pro purse outside of Erins event. We hope this huge player pack and B Tier event will be a big step to bigger women event tournaments
Thank you for all your efforts-that is very generous players pack and 500 donation. Thank you for stepping up to host a woman's event!
Thanks Ladies for all you do! Really looking forward to all of us girls owning Rolling Hills for the day :) an exciting event to be had!
