The only thing I'm unaware of are the Winter months. Some holes are supposedly pulled for sledding during that time. I'm not sure that's actually happened in recent years, but someone with more knowledge may fill in the gap. . .

Early Spring is a bad time because of mud. Same goes for unusually warm winters (unless you like to deal with it of course) The rest of the time, the name of the game is avoiding crowds. The course gets extremely crowded at times -- lots of big groupsand sometimes some very rude people-- that's not to say there aren't some great people who play here, it's just that a few tend to ruin the experience for all.

I'd say during the summer your best bet is mornings -- probably before noon.
