Just want to give another heads up - was contacted by the P&R guy yesterday. He is letting us know that the new pads are prepped with orange paint and their goal is to remove all from the walking paths and replaced with new concrete ones. The teepads affected are: 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 18, 21 and 11/23. He said they are trying to keep them as close as they can to the original pads, but "because of grade issues" on some, they have to be a little farther (3 and 5's??). I have not scene them yet, but Kang Jeebus just told me there appears to be a pad between 12/24's basket and the outhouse - on the hill facing 1/13's basket. ???? Rich Bidinger has been in contact with the city, as well, and has made some propositions. I strongly encourage anyone who has any feedback to show up tonight at Tuesday's Ace Run league and voice your opinion(s). They want our feedback/concerns by early Wednesday as they are planning to pour the new pads this week. I'm grateful, this time, that they are asking for our input. Moving the basket on 4/16 wasn't very smart, putting 2 baskets that close to each other, in my humble opinion. I think anytime we can take the walkers out of the equation it is probably a good thing, though. We shall see...
