Week at the lake

3 different players have now won a league round. J.D, Jim (many times), and now Tyler. This one came down to the wire and we have a new league course record of 56 (+2). Next week is at Veteran's. Should be an interesting week.

Only 3 more days left of the first LDGC League!!!

So heres what i am proposing, On the final day of the league play which is December 7th we can have a 2 round day including a $5 entry fee which will go torwards the winner and runner up who will receive prizes depending on how much we receive. I am hoping we can get AT LEAST 10 players which is $50 which can get us a shirt, 2/3 new discs, and maybe a mini. The discs will depend on who wants what, which we can do a poll to decide. (Rain or Shine) p.s please keep in mind that the lake is one of the only courses in the dfw area which stays almost perfectly dry even during and after rain. Hope to see everyone there.

Our biggest turnout!!!

Today we had a total of 8 players forcing us to do two cards. Jim took the win by 2 strokes shooting 2 down with JD taking 2nd. Next week will be at lake lewisville at 11am. Hope to see you all there.

Nice turnout!!!

We had 6 players out for the turner mini and it was a great round. A few close aces and a lot of OB. Guest player roger took the win shooting par with jim taking the win for the league players. Invite your friends to the LL Woods round this week.

Turner Park tomorrow!!!!

Tomorrows out of town league round will be at Turner park at 11am. If you haven't played this course its a great long course with a lot of different technical shots. Hope to see you there. If you need to car pool please email or text me!!!!

Round at B.B Owens

A big congrats to Jim for taking the out of town win this week at B.B Owens with +2. Tyler taking second with +5 and Walter shooting +11. Next week will be at L.L Woods so i am expected a much bigger turn out. Come on guys lets get out there and play and have some fun. Enough people show up maybe we can do a $3 pay in for the winner. Tomorrow is the first day of the LDGC singles and will last 12 weeks. If you have not already read on the points system please read the most recent news post. The round will start at 10:00 so please show up around 9:45 so we can take names and fill out score cards. Good luck to all.

Point Scoring to Determine League Winner

Shooting Par will give you a score of 100. Anything below par will be multiplied by a factor of 10 + 100. Any score above Par will give you 100, minus your score above par. Given a par 54 course, if you shot a 56, you'd get 100-2 over par, giving you 98 points. If you shot a 44, you'd get 100+ 10(10), giving you 200 points.
