It is going to be a bit tough to be subjective as I helped design this course but I'll give it a shot. At 11,000+ feet this course demands distance. I wish someone would have told the group of spike hyzer throwing am3's that were in front of us that. With a par of 68 Sunnybrook is a challenge. The holes out here are long and then some. It is going to be a bit tough to be subjective as I helped design this course but I'll give it a shot. At 11,000+ feet this course demands distance. I wish someone would have told the group of spike hyzer throwing am3's that were in front of us that. With a par of 68 Sunnybrook is a challenge. The holes out here are long and then some. It's not just wide open bombs though either. Sure, there are a few holes that offer that, but you need to be able to shape a line and throw far to truly master this course. There is plenty of OB(water on 6 holes, greens on almost every hole) to challenge your game as some of the holes require you to throw right to OB edge to have a easier lie for your second shot. Besides the OB there is a triple mando on hole 12 old USDGC style. You have to throw between 2 trees and under a banner. The signature hole out here is 13 with measures in somewhere around 1400', but is reachable in 3 due to the downhill nature of the hole. Golf carts, beer girls, and a bar/restaurant really name this place a complete package. If you have the time to check this place out when the course is in, you really should. I promise you that you won't be disappointed.
