When was the Last Time YOU MOVED the Baskets Steven? Is this even your home Course? When was even the LAST time You Played there? lol? I Personally know Lee does a TON for that Course and him moving the damm Baskets is just not the root of your problem... And he was at LEAST NICE enough to post the NEW LOCATIONS. I don't know too many people that would go that far and have that kind of Respect to inform other players!

Well, good thing it's not a monumental undertaking to move the pins around...otherwise, this might be a big deal or something. <sarcasm> C'mon people, let's enjoy disc, and not make this a forum for interpersonal conflicts. I feel it's always nice to have baskets moved to alt positions every so often, and it's awesome to be informed when they are!! It would also be nice to be informed when they are in official tourney layout, too...like maybe some cool signage on the board, or some updated postings on the tourney/club/course profile on here. I love playing disc golf...sorry to preach...

ya on dgs it has been posted a couple times. not 100% sure where but I know for a fact I have read it. nwdiscgolfnews I think is where its posted. it has each hole and what pin position it would be in. and with they went out last Sunday and moved all the pins to LSO position before random doubles. you guys played right behind us that day. I know you weren't doing the doubles but that was the day all the Pins were moved to LSO spots. check out nwdiscgolfnews to read more. dgs is not the only public forum used online. a lot of good stuff is posted on nwdiscgolfnews. I love that most holes at taloali have alternate placements and agree the course got boring because it was the something all the time. just bad timing is all. I'm in favor for pins being moved regularly. just think it could have waited until after LSO is all.

My 2Cents worth is the more important question at this time is basket 7 going to be replaced by tourney time? If not I could possibly loan my Bentley basket out for the weekend if wanted or needed. Also feel layout should not be that big of issue, should be able to play any variation and with 2 day, 3 round tourney would be nice to show off and use all variations to test players skills. Just my thoughts on whole thing. Thanks

But if that's not the case, then they are just bitching to bitch. And, I think that the tourney director saying this (a couple lines up): "Also feel layout should not be that big of issue, should be able to play any variation and with 2 day, 3 round tourney would be nice to show off and use all variations to test players skills." would just about put to rest this whole issue.

I'm not a big fan of drama in disc, but I know it exists...and I've heard there's some beef between those two. I can honestly say that there was no mention of any of that as the reasonings for moving them. I heard that they had been in the same pos for a while, and that the previous key holder had stepped away from the task, and hadn't changed them in a while. I even noticed that cutting the locks was mentioned on a previous post. So, based on that, I figured the course was ripe for some changes. I will say again, no mention, whatsoever, was made about the beef between Lee and Steve when baskets were moved.

I still stand by my statement though as I wrote it. If you are good enough, should be able to play any variation, even if in same weekend tourney

I, personally, love it when there is some variation between rounds in tourneys...although I've only played in a handful or so. Holy shyte this thread is long!

I also would be interested as to which pro(s) had a compaint about this. Is there anything PDGA wise that states a course must be in tourney layout prederemined amount of time before event? Also anything PDGA wise about layout can or cannot be modified between rounds? What is general rule of them about this and based on what standard? Thank you

Unfortunately none of your opinions about the layout matter. There was obviously some miscommunication/lack of communication between some individuals, it is what it is. (I like to believe that nothing was done out of spite or to sabotage an event that people have been working really hard make happen). The baskets will be moved back into LSO layout and we just ask that they stay this way until after the event.
