I think it is prudent that we have two weekly SAFE-D Meetings starting 11/15/2013. With the days getting shorter, the upcoming holiday season, and schools in session, we would be well-served to exhibit twice the awareness & general precaution. So, next week we start at 4pm, then do another round starting after dark, around 6:15 most likely.
This way, the players who don't enjoy playing at night are included, as well as those who have to work later on Fridays and can't make it by 5pm. I think the fair way to handle the Ace Fund for this split format would be to count it as one continuous round. First, there must be at least 4 players for the round to be valid. Aces IN EITHER ROUND will split the Ace Fund, so if you get an ace in the 1st round and can't stay for the 2nd, you'll get your portion later (based on membership status & total number of aces that session). Thoughts?
