Manic Mondays Summer 2015

Thanks for an awesome two seasons of Manic Mondays!!!

This was the most played league I have had in 3 years of running leagues and I expect it to only get bigger in 2016 as more people find out how great league play can be. I can use your help to make that happen but encouraging your friends, new players you meet on the course, or just someone you think might enjoy the group of people we assemble each week.

If I don't see you this fall for that league hopefully this winter (Wednesday nights at 6:00 Abominable Snowman Handicap league, Saturday Snow Throwers (plays 8 weeks at Root River and 8 weeks at Valley View), or Sunday Snow Throwers (plays 16 weeks between Estabrook, Dretzka Winter 27, and Dineen (in spring when the other courses are pulled).

Well the ace pool may have been hit . . . so let's get down to who wants it more. Double points tonight and you will be going out in your division based on your standings so you know how your closest competitors are doing. Good luck to everyone and if attendance is high tonight . . . there will be a lot of points on the table and a lot of ground can be made up!

Skins Game and $200 Ace Pool?

Skins Game is tonight . . .You will be going out by your standing in your division so you are paired with your closest competitors. Each hole is worth 1 skin. The only way to win a skin is if you have the lowest score ALONE on your card. If two (or more) people tie for the lowest score on the card . . . the skin pushes to the next hole and that hole is now worth two skins. If you get a skin . . . you will win something (depends how many people are on your card but skins are usually worth $ .60 - ... more

The only way to win a skin is if you have the lowest score ALONE on your card. If two (or more) people tie for the lowest score on the card . . . the skin pushes to the next hole and that hole is now worth two skins. If you get a skin . . . you will win something (depends how many people are on your card but skins are usually worth $ .60 - $1.11 depending on your card size. Your overall score still matters for the standings so don't unnecessarily go for a birdie if there are two people parked, you need to play smart for your score but sometime you just want to go for a shot to tie someone and push the skin.
Ace Pool MAY get over $200 tonight with good attendance and we only have one more week after this week to accumulate points for the trophies for the season. Next week is Double Points night so if you want to know where you stand precisely . . . let me know.

Tomorrow is Mid-range night

Typically mid-range discs are in the 4, 5, speed range but some 6 speed discs are actually called fairway or control drivers and some may still be mid-ranges. Please bring forward any questionable discs but it all comes down to how the manufacturer classifies the disc.
