Disc Golf Update

I have recently been seeing many of you on the disc golf course and some of you had asked if I had any news about our home course Woodchuck Ridge. Well, unfortunately I do not have much information to give as I have not been in contact with anyone from Dillon State Park as of yet.

However, I do have some ideas when tournaments are not available but competition is still itching away at you.
I would love to try to get some people together and will start a facebook group page to put together weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly events.

Ideas include and not limited to
ace race, doubles, doubles best disc and other varients, singles, limited disc competitions
we could do it for money or disc pink slip style.

Anything we can do to grow the sport and show Dillon State Park the potential of this course and that the more we push it the more it will grow into a great course!

Any questions, concerns, or comments please feel free to message me.

Spread the word of this and get as many awesome golfers on board as possible!

Would love to host some disc golf clinics as well to teach people about the sport and basics to getting out there throwing well and having a general good time.

I think a Facebook is a great idea. I tried to get the ladies at the park to create one specifically for the course, but that has not happened. We have a group of people that are there almost every weekend. Would be a good way to meet up and play some doubles with new people. If you need help getting anything together just let me know.

This sounds like a fun event to join.

I'm in a group ranging anywhere from 3 people to 7 or 8 which goes out to dillon mostly every Saturday. We've been talking about starting a doubles tournament or something with like $5 or $10 buy in and offer the park half of entry fees to go towards the concrete pads.
