Week 10 . . . Double Points . . . who is going to make a move?

Just a reminder to those in the playoff hunt!!!

Open:
These 5 people have made the playoffs but their seeds are not guaranteed until we see attendance tomorrow and double points might factor in.
Brad Weber 34.5 (dropping a 2.0 and potentially a 2.5)
Joel Kamoske 33.5 (dropping a 1.0 and potentially a 2.0)
Mike Harrington 27 (dropping a zero and MOST LIKELY a 1.0)
Kyle Sparrow 17 (dropping two zeros)
Drew Retherford 11 (dropping two zeros)

Kyle could move into the 3rd with a good round (or me shooting a poor round) and good attendance, while Drew would need at least 8 players in Open to move into 3rd. This division the #4 and 5 seeds will be playing round 1, while seeds 1,2, and 3 will have a first round bye. Then #1 will play the winner of 4/5 seed match and 2 will play 3.

Advanced: (You need to play well this week to establish your position because if all 3 of you come that would mean 9 people qualified with 5 weeks played . . . and the 9th person will be out of luck for the playoffs, but remember this week is Double Points week so you can really make a move with a good round.)

Advanced: (shows qualifiers & those who can qualify if they finish top 8)
Matt Brody 47.5 (dropping a 2.0 and potentially another 2.0)
Colin Huff 44.5 (dropping two zeros)
Sean Hosking 42.5 (dropping a 1.0 and potentially another 1.0)
Tyler Boone 39 (dropping a zero and potentially a 2.5)
Tyler Kollias 37.5 (dropping a 2.0 and potentially another 2.0)
Chad Niezgoda 30 (dropping two zeros but MUST PLAY THIS WEEK)
Dan Bertzyk 23.5 (dropping two zeros but MUST PLAY THIS WEEK)
Brian Allender 22 (dropping a zero and potentially a 1.0)
Jordan Caldwell 17.5 (dropping two zeros but MUST PLAY THIS WEEK)

Brian Allender has qualified with # of weeks played but he if he does not play (or doesn't play well) this week he might miss out. Jordan would have to play well to pass him and get into the playoffs . . . or Chad or Dan would have to not play this week and Jordan will qualify. Dan and Chad just need to play and not let Jordan pass them.

I will say Matt Brody, Colin Huff, Sean Hosking, Tyler Boone, and Tyler Kollias are locks . . . but they could still play well and get themselves a better seed. The battle for the 8th spot is all determined by Chad Niezgoda, Dan Bertzyk, Brian Allender, and Jordan Caldwell. Depending on who plays league this week and who plays well or poorly . . . will determine who makes the match play finals.

Intermediate:
Adam Gonzales 47 (dropping a zero and potentially a 1.5)
Greg Weber 46.5 (dropping two zeros)
Brian Williams 38 (dropping a zero and potentially a 2.5)
Nick Williams 37.5 (dropping a zero and potentially a 1.0)
Josh Davies 23.5 (dropping two zeros)
Ethan Hill 23 (dropping two zeros)
Dustin Bocek 17 (dropping two zeros)
Shawn Nyquist 16.5 (dropping two zeros)
Dan Ingebrigtson 14.5 (dropping two zeros but MUST PLAY THIS WEEK and move ahead of 1 other person above him on the list).

I will say that Adam Gonzales, Greg Weber, Brian Williams, and Nick Williams are all locks but they could still play well and get themselves a better seed. Josh Davies, Ethan Hill, Dustin Bocek, and Shawn Nyquist have qualified by # of weeks played but they all just have to finish higher than 1 other person from the list . . . or they are all safe if Dan Ingebrigtson does not play this week. Remember double points could put any one of you in jeopardy if you don't play or have a bad round.

Recreational:
Jeff Friedewald and Levi Ingebrigtson have both qualified and will be playing a Best of 3 Matches to decide the divisional winner. Wish them luck because whoever gets hot could win the division.

I look forward to seeing you all out there this week. I am excited to see how these Match play matches will turnout.
