I'll put out a $100 per basket reward for anyone who can find the culprit and return them.
Somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody has to know somebody that knows something about this. Too many of us out there know too many people that know other people, if ya know what I mean. Only so many people are out there at any given time. Discers, bikers, hikers and vagrants. I doubt a biker has any reason to steal em, besides its kinda hard to pack a basket on a bike. Hikers/walkers aint gonna do it. Vagrants/hobos are a possibility. Weve all seen their encampments out there and at the low price of scrap steel, 2 baskets equals about one 12 pack or a CHEAP bottle. Just throwin out a possibilty not many think of..... So if anyone in the Ogden areas not workin tomorrow, swing by Blooms recycling just s/e of 21st st. exit and alert them to the theft and tell em to turn down anyone tryin to scrap a basket, then slap em in the face and call Kent or any self respecting NUDGA. Yea theyre just the old RP baskets but theyre OURS and give us somethin to shoot at out back. Besides KENT spent a lot of time and his own $$ building those baskets by hand 9 years ago so HE and OTHERS with a vision could give us the course we all LOVE. There are fresh tire tracks near the scene of the crime. So it gotta be someone that knows the ins and outs. I suspect maybe a newer golfer and non NUDGA is responsible. I see too many newbies out there littering, smashing baskets, NOT BEING DISCRETE ABOUT CERTAIN ACTIVITES, breaking branches and flappin their lips way too loudly with profanity amongst other SH*#!!!! Too many dont respect the course, assuming its a free for all and its just some place the city provides for everyone to come out and act like an A*#HOLE with their buddies. Ya'll old school NUDGAS know better and should correct them and remind them our course is a PRIVILEGE, that WE maintain and fund, and the city can swipe it from us at ANY TIME if were a bunch of jerks.
Sorry I kinda went off there for a second but it needed to be said. Keep your ears open and hopefully we get back what is ours. respect the game and OUR course. If the person responsible for the theft reads this, (I doubt it cause youre prob not literate). I hope your mother contracts cancer of the face and her jaw falls off and you gotta feed her with a tube of broth shoved in her neck for the rest of her miserable life. Thats what she gets for raising YOU!! Then maybe youll have to steal more baskets to sell in order to buy more rubber hose and a stockpile of broth. And hopefully when we find you, youll still be able to eat solid foods when were done with ya.
