It's the end of Humpday Huckers for 2014

Come on down and play your last Humpday Huckers round for 2014. Trophy Ceremony to follow immediately after league. Don't worry . . . It will be back in 2015.

We might even continue with some league action the rest of the fall if there is enough interest. While Estabrook isn't the greatest course for glow disc golf . . . would anyone be interested in am 8 or 9 week session taking us up Thanksgiving?

8 weeks are done and 2 to go.

You can see the total points accumulated in the Overall Standings here. There look to be some heated battles for all three positions in Advanced and Intermediate with 4-5 people in contention to win the whole thing. It might get even closer when people start dropping their two lowest point totals. I will update that next week after we play so you know exactly we you stand. With the Birdie Club and Ace Pool rising again we might have some better attendance the last two weeks of the league . . . which means MORE PONTS ARE AVAILABLE

Week 8 is already here

We will be sticking to the 5:30 PM start time and hope everyone makes it on time. I will leave scorecards and pencils in case you show up late and cannot find a small group to join. Like I said last week, I do not want a single person joining a foursome because that will only slow everyone down and give an unfair advantage to the smaller groups.

Back at it tomorrow!

Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful long holiday weekend, I did because I finally Made it up to The Northwoods Open at Sandy Point. While my play wasn't what I had hoped for, I did have a good time seeing a lot of friendly faces up there. However, I am ready to return to normal and get back to all my leagues. This is week 6 and the course will be remaining fairly easy for the next 5 weeks while we tempt darkness so why not come out and take a stab at some Birdie Club and Ace Pool Money. A ... more

Halfway Humpday

We will be halfway through the Humpday Summer/Fall league after tonight . . . who will make a move up in the standings? Who will be running for aces and the $75 Ace Pool?

Humpday Huckers Week #4 is upon us!

Guess what day it is? Yep . . . It's Humpday . . . and it's Week #4. While the Birdie Club is starting over the Ace Pool is still up there at $53 and the course will be kept fairly short in the coming weeks so we can all finish with daylight. The final group will be going out at 5:45 tonight and I might even let a few groups get started on the course by about 5:30 PM.

History was made.

Well Bob Bawden became the first to ever hit all 5/5 to win the entire Birdie Club last night in two years of leagues at Estabrook. It was worth $291 and Bob has plans to put some of that money back into bettering Estabrook. which I very unselfish of him.

Start Time will be no later than 5:45 next week (however I will leave scorecards on my windshield) so if you are wanting to look at and buy some discs please come before 5:15 or so.

Birdie Club is calling once again

$247 coming into tonight and I expect at least $40-50 to be put into the Birdie Club tonight also . . . which would bring the total near or possibly over $300 for the third week in a row! Come hit your birdies and walk away with a huge payday. I know Casey Connors will be there looking to shot another (-14).

Ace Pool sits at $30 . . if you want to just throw from some ace.

The Elusive Birdie Club

Well . . . 3 people hit 4/5 birdies this week taking $105 out of the Birdie Club but it is still at $247 going into next week so I expect another $300 total is possible. Bob moved 6 baskets this week and he said he might move a few more around next week to keep it fresh but the course will be getting easier towards the end of this league session to keep the rounds quicker and efficient.

Thanks to everyone for making this a great league, I am appreciative and glad to have such a good group of ... more

HOLY CAMEL!!!!!!

Well we saw record attendance tonight . . . I am not sure if everyone wanted to see the Camel Trophies from last season . . . or if they came to try to get their share of the Birdie Club . . . but either way we had 37 people in attendance tonight.. It started at $222 and add in $104 between tonight's league entries and the rest of Pete's money and we were over $320. Only one person (Robin Pederson) who paid into the Birdie club hit 4/5 and took home $33 . . while another person hit 4/ ... more

Birdie Club starts at $222 for week #1

What more can you ask for . . .but a chance at $222 by just showing up Next Wednesday July 30th. Sure it might take 5 birdies on specific randomly decided holes .. . but there is a chance.
