About this league
Freestate Doubles is a state-wide point system for players in weekly doubles events. The point system works this way. Each player starts with 5 points per event. Additional points are added or subtracted based on strokes above or below the event average, rounded to the nearest .5. For good measure, no player will be awarded less than one point per event.
We will have a year-end doubles event on November 6th at a neutral course for the top 2 players from each league, as determined by the TD's scoring system. An at-large team will be formed from the top 2 finishers in Freestate Doubles who did not make their league's team. Attending multiple doubles events can really help a player's tally.
Check with your local doubles TD for start times each week.
