Rocklin Disc Golf Course

Love this course...one of my favorates in Northern Cali...

Long course but with wide open throwing lanes. Relatively easy course with you have the distance. Play through an oak woodland with a stream/creek running through it. People do walk through the course and don't pay attention to the disc golf so be careful.

This is a great course.
Close to home and a challenging course.

Front 9 in medium positions, Back 9 in short positions

Rocklin is a course for big hyzer shots with the occasional anhyzer. There aren't enough trees or obstacles for it to be considered a technical course. But in the up coming months it will be changing to a 27 hole course and and we are do a complete redesign of the layout so my overall rating will most likely go up after its finished,

Played here 2/05/12. Very long course and open. However the lanes are all below oak trees like a tunnel so you must throw low and long! Water hazards on 4 or 5 holes(creek running through the course) that I am told become huge after a recent rain. You may want to go somewhere else if it has rained in the last couple of days.

Nice course, beginner friendly, lots of people traffic, lacks maps/distances on signage.
