If anyone loses a disc please post it here and I will do what I can to get it back to you if I find it. I have one unnamed I found if you can identify it and the hole it was lost on I will return it.

Course designer Ron will be on hand in the morning and again after the dubs round to direct the work areas. Projects may include chopping out toe stubs, removing fallen limbs, grooming dead growth from some pines, raking fairways, leveling pads and more. meet up around tee 1 before 9 if possible. If arriving after that, look to the wooded holes for activity.

course update - Thanks go out to the City of AuGres for providing a Porta John to the course. Keep it free from destruction and remember, the $$$ donations are paying the way for improvements.

May 26 course update - ALL fairways were cut and trimmed this past weekend. Holes 1 & 2 are a little soggy, especially after a rain but regardless, all 20 holes are awaiting more players. The course is getting the attention it deserves with Ron estimating 40 vehicles visiting over a 2 day period when he was cutting. Of those he spoke to, nearly all were visiting from some distance. Play it, Review it, donate for tee pads. Thanks.

Old Airport Disc Golf Course - AuGres, Michigan
MAY 9th, 2015 --- course is dry and ready to play. Even better yet, the course and Ron are READY for some volunteer help. Raking, cleaning and getting it all set for the first mowing. Let Ron know or send me a message to arrange a time...
Craig Prime April 12 at 11:36am
April 12th - COURSE CONDITION UPDATE - The course is in flood conditions - you should all wait to play until the rain stops and we have some good sun and wind.
Craig Prime March 27 at 10:19am
Spring course conditions remain wet with holes 1 & 2 nearly flooded and hole 3 having standing water near the basket. The wooded holes will most likely have wet areas developing as the final traces of snow leave with more rain (hopefully no more snow). There were players out this past week so it is playable but only for those that want to weave their way through the playable holes or standing water... Visit Old Airport DGC soon.

I will be spending the weekend in Oscoda and plan on stopping by this course on my way home on Sunday. If there is a local who wants to play a round with me so i can have a guide that would be great. Im not sure what time i will be passing through but we can figure that out latter.

Hey Craig, just played the course again for 3rd year in a row while i was on a near by camping trip. I believe my Gf Stevi and i played with you and Ron mid summer 3 yrs ago, course looks asome i wanted to donate some money but had no cash on me, but we had a great time! Thanks for all the hard work and tell Ron i let out some howls for him!

As of August, 2014 the grass fairways have been well groomed several times and wooded hole fairways are quite clear of everything aside from the remaining stumps and toe stubs. Be careful and when playing, feel free to pick up some sticks, tossing them as far off the fairways as possible. The donations raised for tee pads is nearing $500.00, any predictions on when they'll start going in ?
Craig Prime June 30, 2014 at 3:51pm
new tee signs and arrows pointing players to the next tee were installed last weekend, although how Ron keeps the course cut, it's easy to follow. enjoy the course
Moe Dixon June 30, 2014 at 8:40am
Ill be playing here on the 6th, not sure of a tee time yet but all are welcome to join
Craig Prime June 30, 2014 at 8:18am
this course is worth the journey. natural tee pads and no elevation but aside from that, the course is very unique and first class.
Craig Prime June 3, 2014 at 6:17am
course UPDATE - June 1st and the course was freshly cut through hole Nine. The wooded holes are still needing some weed whacking throughout the fairways but it is VERY playable. Grounds Keeper Ron says that holes 1 - 9 are Whimbledon quality (if tennis can equate to disc golf) . Bring your bug spray, the skeeters will carry you away once in the woods.

Played decent today on 17 holes. The entrance is pretty muddy. Holes 1 and 2 are pretty wet and unplayable. Hole 3 has a bit of water down the fairway but is playable. Holes 4-16 are pretty decent. Holes 17, 18, and 19 have a couple puddles but are playable. Hole 20 is unplayable. It looks like more rain may be on the way though!
