Is it still just poles or the actual baskets in? I'll be out there on Friday if anyone wants to join.

Old Airport DGC is getting a FACELIFT. The city secured 20 baskets and course designer Ron Peludat is redesigning some of the old holes and making a entire new layout for about 11 or 12 holes. Work cutting, pruning and grooming is about to start, now that the grounds are dry enough for foot and vehicle traffic. Anyone want to volunteer ?

The course has really been there for 20 plus years with the poles, just been hiding.

The baskets are in Au Gres but NOT IN THE GROUND and with the cold weather they might not be at the course until spring.

Old Airport Disc Golf Course in AuGres, Michigan has ordered 18 Chainstar baskets and expect to have them cemented in before the snow flies. Along with baskets replacing the aluminum poles, a few holes will get redesigned to add some extra distance to this course that was started and maintained by one guy since 1999. His efforts paid off and the city is behind the efforts that provided the opportunity for the course to develop.
