Attn disc golfers. After months of hard work, Taymouth Twp park in Burt ( west birch run ) has got a huge makeover and is now ready to play. This course now boasts 18 holes with longs and shorts.Teepads are spiked down, extra large, 4 X 10 wall carpet, ( this stuff is awesome!) Freshly painted chainstar baskets. A great mix of holes with 6 out in the park and 12 wooded holes. This course now has a landscaped and elevated basket with death putt. 4 single mando's for safety and fun. Several water hazards. 2 exciting risk vs reward double mando's. An ace run hole. A pole hole. A triple mando. And a superb island hole surrounded along in front and both sides by creeks.Course info has been updated on disc golf scene and the process has begun on udisc and should be complete in a week or so. But you wont get lost. There is excellent signage including the bottom rung of the basket is painted pointing the way to go.This is no longer the crap course it used to be. Course amenities and odds and ends work are ongoing.

Lost a blue exo hard tactic in the stream in front of 17s bracket, about 15-20 left of pin. Water was muddy brown and I couldn’t see anything. Disc is ink’d with my info. Reward if found and returned. I also found another as I was walking the water. Name mold and color and I’ll get it back, no ink.

Good afternoon - I'm reaching out to you because of a conversation I had with a gentleman today about disc golf. This afternoon a disc golfer called and made a complaint regarding the care of the course. He said it had been vandalized with paint and flags. He further said he took the flags down. This was a painted cross country course for the high school. They have an invitational tomorrow and the course was flagged and marked by their coaches and volunteers. Memorial Park is used by a variety of users - including the schools. We have a long history of cooperation - and honestly, they have been running cross country events in Memorial Park for at least a decade. I know from reading the forum and comments that many of you are aware of the other users and have been gracious in your interaction. We ask that you continue to enjoy the course and be respectful. If ever there are questions - or if you see stakes or things out of place in the park - please call us at 652-9901.
