I'm going to be playing here on wednesday next week, is Holden's liquor store always stocked up? Because I need to buy some new plastic, lost a bunch of discs in some water hazards at a course and won't be able to get them back until the spring/summer season begins. If someone who is a regular to this course or lives around that area could please tell me, I would greatly appreciate that.

I am actually debating about calling the park office tomorrow. Had one of the worst disc golf experiences today. I will never bring my 3 year old daughter with me to play at Kensington until she is much, much older. I'm all for having a good time and having the occasional puff or drink on the course, I cannot however condone the use of hard drugs, especially in front a 3 year old. The amount of casuals was insane, there was at least 6-7 people still waiting to tee off Hole 1 at 7:45pm. Took almost 3 hours to place by myself. I know K-Town has it's moments where all the city rats come out of the wood work, but the attitudes & the casualness of people smoking Meth absolutely blew my mind. Yes, people were smoking glass, I know what it smells like & it wasn't weed or crack-cocaine! Very disappointing to say the least, especially with all the garbage around garbage cans, I guess folks cannot make into the can. Not once did I see a patrol where someone was checking Id's and passes, nice to know the money I paid for my annual passes is going to good use. Clearly I can only enjoy this course with the family at 8am before the city rats appear, bummer, the course is an excellent challenge & extremely fun to play.

Jon for going for the first time it almost 2 years, I would take what you say with a grain of salt due to the fact that you came at the end of the season when there is no one really monitoring the park. When they do have you pay to play, infact, the course is awesome. I played all summer there and never had an issue or saw anyone doing anything destructive. i came there last week my friend adam kann for a round for the first time in almost 2 years ago and we came in the early morning, you must have a rampant truancy problem or something as we saw a group of 6+ underage kids come out of nowhere when we were on 11 i believe and start walking up to his disc like they were going to take off with it. these same kids were also causing ruckus throughout the park the entire time we were there, there was nobody to report it to as they were not collectiing p ... more

Yep bunch of bums. We did our best to get them caught, but nope, the bums walk again. If anybody witnesses this crap, they should try to nonchalantly record vandalism with their phones or cameras. And call the police. They need hard proof to arrest on the spot.

So today at about dusk, as we were finishing our round, we were approached by a young guy that was saying someone was shaking the baskets and actually uplifted hole 6 out of the ground. he also told us the people that did it, were still on the course. he proceeded to call the police, and i went and checked on hole 6. As i walked up to it, i noticed it was in fact leaning over, so put it back upright, and ran back. as i got back the police were just showing up, right as the accused group walked u ... more

Lost a first run pink blizzard boss, can't remember which hole, but it was on the left side of the fairway, in some pine trees, not deep in. PDGA # on it 40666, if you see it nab it and you will be rewarded.

I just called the park and they said its still up now and should be until the end of the week. Anyone who wants to play it tomorrow with me is welcome to join. I definitely prefer to play that course with a group.
