Dear faithful Disc Golfers: SOMEBODY HAS STOLEN HOLE 9'S BASKET.. I stopped by there on my way home from work today with the few minutes of daylight left for a little pitch and putt practice. (I like to do that sometimes here, it is good practice) Had a good round going, got to hole 9, parked it with a forehand Force shot, went up, and saw no basket there. INSTANTLY INFURIATING!!!! They sawed it right off at the base. This course is now ruined for me. WHOEVER YOU ... more

Sincerely pissed off,

Gold tee layout was fun, with a couple holes demanding spotters for the safety of anyone else in the park. We also played another round from the "Pirate" tees. If trying either of these layouts please be sure to check if people are out there, we had the course to ourselves so playing was easy.
#1 1t -> 3b
#2 3t -> 9b
#3 4t -> 5b
#4 6t -> 4b

Gold tees.. might have to happen next friday.. Who's in?
Sean McNally July 22, 2010 at 10:20pm
Yeah, there was a year or so where I only played like once or twice and now that I'm back in MI, I've been catching up. I can feel my first ace coming real soon at Freedom. On 3, 4, 8, or 9. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Scott White July 22, 2010 at 9:51pm
You're at Freedom every day between 10 and 1? Dude, not only are you president you are also a member!
Sean McNally July 22, 2010 at 8:58pm
I'm gonna be on a fishing trip next weekend, but I'm at Freedom almost everyday between 10 and 1 and hopefully we can set something up once i get back. I'll have a more set schedule once I find a job in this friggin' city.

Casuals more then likely.. %99 of the people that use this site would NEVER deface the park with out city approval and just means. it sounds like some lil kids got made about the trees eating their discs and went rouge.. that sucks.
Sean McNally July 22, 2010 at 9:54am
okay, whoever completely destroyed the woods on 8, that was a little unnecessary. There are saplings broken and hanging out into the fairway, broken branches, etc. Really?
Hunter S. Dotson July 22, 2010 at 9:02am
i'm hoping for next weekend like 8-9am on a sun or something like that. just early enough that there wont be anyone else in the park.
Sean McNally July 21, 2010 at 6:08pm
I appreciate it, when were you thinking about playing?
Hunter S. Dotson July 21, 2010 at 3:40pm
Will do, also sean so of us are thinking about playing a safari round from the unoffical "Gold" tees if your up for a game.
Sean McNally July 21, 2010 at 3:33pm
If anyone's playing Freedom Park in the near future, my buddy lost his favorite disc (Blue Discraft Elite XS) somewhere along the left edge in the woods on hole 8. We looked but couldn't find it. If anyone does, it would be great to get it back for him. Thanks!
Hunter S. Dotson July 19, 2010 at 2:17pm
and NOTHING on the course is a par 4..... most should be par 2's if thats even a possibility. unless we are talking the gold tees.
