AMAZING NEWS! I just got word from the City of Kalamazoo Department of Parks and Recreation that my proposal for a $3600 park improvement grant has been APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be an epic year for Knollwood disc golf and I am glad that each and every one of you got the chance to be a part of it all!

Dude that's amazing! Nice work Corey!

Dean Cugs   May 14, 2013 at 9:19am

Great news! Ready for a great year @Knollwood

Corey Nufer    May 13, 2013 at 9:27am

I would like to congratulate Eric Karloski on his second place score of 37 points, his placing has earned him a pair of Vibram Five Finger Bakilas. And our Birdie Bash Champion, with a score of 42 points is Mike Phillips, for his victory, a place on the Vibram Test team awaits!

I will get a hold of both of you as soon as I hear back from Vibram.

No problem at all, seems like the general consensus on that one was pretty good

Adam Matthews    May 11, 2013 at 4:28pm

Hope the Birdie Bash went well! If anyone wants to play another one and have a big chance to win or know people who might want to give it a try, check out my VBB on May 25 in Freeland, MI: www.discgolfscene.com/MidMichVBB

Corey, I have 2 guys registered who cannot make it. I am trying to find a replacement but at this late hour I might just say they are not coming. Mitch Helmkamp and Wynn Coggin will not be joining us. Can I still bring back their player packs?

I won't be able to play tomorrow in the birdie bash, would it be possible for Dean Cugliotta to pick up my players pack for me?

Corey Nufer   May 10, 2013 at 9:19am

No problem

Tim Wolffis    May 8, 2013 at 11:44pm

This might be a dumb question but will there be food available to purchase or should I pack a lunch?

Corey Nufer   May 9, 2013 at 7:52am

Not at all a dumb question, we will be giving you the chance to order one of the top five selling sandwiches called "Dubs" from Menna's Joint, the food will be delivered to us at the break.

Driving up from Auburn, IN any suggestions for a hotel near Knollwood?

Corey Nufer   May 7, 2013 at 11:53am

Well, I don't know too much about where is best to stay, but here is a map with hotels and restaurants that should be helpful. There are a handful of hotels in two to three miles around the park and plenty of downtown accommodations. http://www.tripadvisor.com/LocalMaps-g42354-Kalamazoo-Area.ht ... more

Thanks Corey

Corey Nufer    May 7, 2013 at 4:25am

Well, it looks like the tourney is getting close, Vibram just shipped all of the tournament materials and I should get them in a day, or two. We had our clean up event at Knollwood this past Sunday and it looks beautiful out there, a HUGE thanks to Q It Up Catering for bringing out their open pit and raising a good amount of cash for the park improvement fund!

Just a reminder, if you signed up using a card that isn't under your name and didn't leave your name in the comments, your sign in will go much more smoothly if you remember the name on the account with which you signed up;...

Few days and a wake up until the Bash. Thanks Corey for your hard work putting this on. Great event for Knollwood Park. See you all Saturday.

I used my wife's debit card and it somehow signed her up for the tourney, is that going to be an issue the day of the tournament.

Corey Nufer   May 3, 2013 at 11:30pm

Shouldn't be a problem, I'll try to remember to make a note of that when I get the gear for the tournament.

Very cool, Rae and Eric and I are also playing!!

Corey Nufer   May 2, 2013 at 3:18am

You've got to sign up at iRegisteredOnline.com, the link is on the front of the tournament page in the upper right hand corner. Hopefully you get there before that last slot is taken.

Blake Walters   May 2, 2013 at 12:21pm

Thanks, but I fail, all spots are filled it says.

Reid ott    April 29, 2013 at 4:03pm

is there a way that i can register with someone and not online?

Brendan Cleary    April 24, 2013 at 4:11pm

Is there an option for two putters if say we wanted a ridge or vp for driving and a summit or sole for putting?

Ben Goodrow   April 24, 2013 at 4:21pm

Great Question...

Corey Nufer   April 24, 2013 at 8:32pm

Unfortunately I do not believe there is, when you sign up, it gives you two columns for your disc choices and only one has the putters.

Chad Lantz    April 22, 2013 at 12:31pm

Are we going to get the discs we chose? I heard the birdie bash last weekend had no soles.

Corey Nufer   April 24, 2013 at 8:33pm

Doing my best to get that info for you, I should get an answer tomorrow.

Corey Nufer   April 25, 2013 at 9:05am

Just got the email from the Vibram guy, Steve Dodge, they did have a shortage of the Ridge and the Sole, but as of this week, they have manufactured more than enough to cover all of the player discs and he assures me our tournament will be fully stocked.

Chad Lantz   April 25, 2013 at 12:10pm

Good news. Thanks.
