A final thanks to all the players who brought in can goods the food went to a very good cause which is women's shelter for abused and homeless women in the downriver Detroit area. There were 26 winners of prizes for those who brought can items with many winning multiple prizes. We are going to do one last food collection and prize give away at Holiday Hyzer in lieu of the jumbo toss so remember those can goods.

I like to thank all those who helped out with unloading of disc and baskets. A special thanks to Jonathan for helping me run the Basket Toss, Sarah (Derek's better half) who helped out with admin and in the kitchen, and especially my better half (Sissy) whos constant hours of time and patience with my disc golf passion allows these events to run smoothly. Hope to see most of you in 2 weeks at HOLIDAY HYZER at Ponds of Lakeshore (12/3) and/or 4 weeks at LAST CHANCE FOR POINTS at Hudson Mills (12/17) The 69 players that survived the wind, rain, ice, snow, sleet, & cold should be congratulated for your desire and love of the greatest sport in the world (DISC GOLF)!

I like to thank the 69 players (appropriate # considering the weather was kind of screwy) that attended this annual event. The event will be back on its normal weekend next year being the weekend a few days after Thanksgiving (tradition).

We have the heated lodge to stay warm for check in, lunch and for awards. I have 86 players listed for 84 spots because 2 people listed dropped but I forgot to delete and lost my note on who they were. PLEASE TRY TO PRE PAY for the event for you will get an ADDED ITEM TO PLAYER PACK for AMS & microfiber towel for PROS. The system will put you on the wait list but I will transfer out the paid wait list registration with the non-paid in the event registration. With many using cashless pre-reg we usually get at least 5 to 10 no shows so if you are early on the wait list you are very likely to get into the event. / So if you are a Pro or an Am and you are on the wait list make sure you show up for I will move things around to get everyone in up to the total cap of 84 players.
