About this tournament
Hello everyone, PIAS is excited to bring you this Tournament where we play one of
Ben Geren's long layouts..... (The Beast!)
This will be a two-round triples event. First round we will play the traditional white course from the long tees, second round we will play the Beast. for those that don't know, the Beast is a combination of the white and yellow course. 18 holes and 10,034 feet.
Can you handle it?!
There will be 3 divisions: Open, Advanced, and Rec.
to play in the Rec Div. all members of your team must be 910 and under rated.
If one member is 911 or higher rated than you must play in one of the higher divisions.
If a member does not have a current PDGA rating, please contact one of the tournament staff for approval for the MA3 division. it will be looked at on a case-by-case situation.
We will be doing scoring on Udisc for this event.
We want to do a small players pack with bigger payout for this tournament.
So, everyone will get to pick one disc from the stock that we bring from the store, and the rest to payout minus the fees.
Open division will play for cash payout, Adv and Rec will play for merch payout from inventory we will have on site, or you can just apply it as store credit to your account for later use. Will payout top third of each division.
Entry fee will be $120 per team.
Fee breakdown:
$30 for player's pack
$6 to WAFDA
$4 to course and admin fees
$80 to payout

| 8:40am - 8:50am | Hole assignments, short players meeting and any info that needs to be relayed. |
| 9:00am - 11:30am | Round 1 shotgun start at assigned holes. |
| 11:30am - 12:45pm | About an 1:15-1:30 min lunch after last card is done. |
| 1:00pm - 4:00pm | Estimated shotgun start of the second round. will be a long round so be prepared. |
| 4:15pm - 4:30pm | Awards and payout. |
