San Diego Doubles 2023
About this tournament
Welcome to the 2023 San Diego AM Doubles bracket! Once filled teams will be matched up randomly with no regions for the bracket so be prepared to travel and meet at a neutral location! This is an AM only bracket. Players will compete in a “Stroke play” format. Playing for the lowest amount of strokes in a “best shot” doubles team style. Entry fee for this bracket is $50 per team. ($25 per player)
Payouts will be as follows under the condition it fills:
$500 1st place
$200 2nd place
$50 3rd place
$50 4th place
Teams will have one week to complete each match. If you can’t agree on a course the TD will choose one for you. The first week of matches will be the 22nd of May to the 28th of May, then another week to complete the following round continuing until all matches are complete and we have a winner, if the match isn’t completed by the deadline both teams will forfeit the round. The Bracket is now LIVE for the first annual San diego Amatuer Dubs!
Start reaching out to your opponent online to get things lined up, if you have any trouble doing so let me know ahead of time and I'll assist.
The first round is going to be starting tomorrow and running until the 28th of May(deadline), this gives teams ample time to reach out and complete the match prior to the deadline. The next round (Top 8) will kick off the 29th and run for 7 days and so on for the remaining rounds until we have a champion!
This is a stroke play bracket so the lowest amount of strokes will win the round.
The course played is decided between the two teams set to play each other, if for some reason the two teams can't come to an agreement I'll decide on a course based on the location of players. All OB and hazard rules will be discussed between the teams prior to playing each other so there is no confusion, so be thorough with each other prior to the round.
Once your completed with your match submit the scorecard to myself and I'll update the bracket. if the teams don't play before the deadlines, they'll forfeit the tournament. If anyone has any questions feel free to shoot me a message!
