The Halloween Haunt is back to its origin at Ross Park in Pocatello. This is a singles tournament all in the dark. Oh, by the way, you will be throwing through the fog, around webs, bats, ghosts, aliens, and anything else that might come out at Halloween! It will be a blast! PVDGC and HDDGA have combined to run this event and already have great sponsorship. PVDGC members get a $5 discount on registration fees.
Night Flight Disc Golf is a major sponsor and have given us a great deal on lights for your discs. These lights are bright, thin, and weigh only 2.5 grams. We tested them out and did not see a change in the flight of our discs. They are waterproof and reusable. Each light is $2 and you can buy as much as you want. We will have 200 there. As far as the rules for lighting your disc, your disc must be lighted, glowing, or on fire on every throw.
We will be playing two rounds. 1st round is 26 holes, 2nd round is 13 holes. There will be a hot cocoa break in between rounds. Please eat dinner before the tournament. We will be up late!
The weather at this event has ranged from crisp October weather to snow so be prepared for anything. Also, a flashlight is good for score keeping. No flashlights can be used during play, except for looking for a disc that lost its light or glow.
