    Just Announced !!! The PDGA is hosting a FREE Pro Clinic next Thursday September 4th at the Chili disc golf course at Widener Park. The clinic features 2008 World Champion Dave Feldberg, our current World Champion Catrina Allen, and 2011 Pro Masters World Champion Jonathan Baldwin. It will start promptly at 4 pm so don't be late for this unique opportunity.

Prodigy Disc presents the 40th Anniversary of the Rochester Flying Disc Open !!! With the assistance of the original TD of that 1st event run in 1974, Jim Palmeri, the Greater Rochester DGC and Monroe County Sports Commission are ecstatic to host such an important part of disc golf history, this being the longest running event in disc golf.

We are very excited to have Disc Golf Planet TV here broadcasting live over the internet the 3 day PDGA National Tour crowning event September 5th - 7th, 2014. It is also the 2014 Pro NY State Championships with the top NYS resident also winning the entry to represent NYS at the 2014 USDGC in October. This event is also a USDGC qualifier event. A total of five (5) spots will be awarded at each regional qualifying event. The top five overall scores will earn an invitation to compete.

144 competitors will be playing 2 well manicured and challenging championship disc golf courses here in Rochester. 2 rounds each at Parma and Chili. Friday Sept. 5th will feature each competitor playing 2 rounds, one at each course. Saturday the 6th will have all players at Parma with tee times and a player party to follow at the course. Sunday Sept. 7th will be at Chili. We will be using tee times as well on the final day. Awards will take place at the Chili DGC after the final round.

The Holiday Inn Airport in Rochester is our host hotel for the up and coming RFDO events. For disc golfers associated with the both the amateur and pro events, they are offering a special rate of $89 per night. There is a block of rooms that have been reserved for the NT event. Those rooms become unblocked as of August 5th, but the $89 will be given up until the event as long as there are rooms available.
