FYI // Please note that the final TD report was provided to the PDGA today, so even though the event finished less than 2 days ago and the deadline for the next rating update was today I was able to complete all the filings and all the payments to the PDGA and this event will be in each players next rating update.

I would like to thank the 78 players who attended this event at the unique and challenging venue. A special thanks to the best little working disc golf women in the world (Sissy) who gives up her weekend and time to make sure these events run smoothly and on time. Thanks to my assistant TD (Mark Kruse) who sat out he event out so this old guy could tackle this long and water hazard course. Thanks to all the others who chipped in especially Billy Ray & Adam Osborn who helped me set up this temp course and helped change the layout for the rounds on Sunday. I am exhausted and looking forward to going to work on Monday which will be a break from the time and energy it takes to design, set up, run, change layout, and take down a temp course. I hope all enjoyed the unique risk / reward nature of this venue. Congrats to all the division winners, ctp winners, ace pool winner, sponsored putting contest winners, and basket toss winners, hopefully a fun and challenging disc golf weekend was enjoyed by most. // Please let me know if my fingers slipped during the upload as soon as you can but I believe all is correct and I want to finalize this report by Tuesday so any discrepancy please private message me on the disc golf scene asap. / Thanks Again !!

All scores and ratings are now up on the PDGA website. Remember that your score will show a rating for the final 9 but the final 9 is not added to your rating by the PDGA (good or bad) for it is not a full round.

Any rated differences between divisions is because PDGA ratings are based on the course you are playing and the rated players in your division so divisions with higher rated players can affect a players rating upward and visa versa for divisions with lower rated players could affect your rating downward.

I think everyone already knows this for I stated it previously and it has been stated in the about section from day 1 but there is a $10 fee per day to use the resort facilities which each person will pay at the guard shack when you enter the resort. The $10 fee gives you full access to all their facilities for that day (pool, hot tub, game room disc golf course, etc...) Thanks again to all the participating players that support this A tier event at this unique venue.

FYI Ace pool, cash CTP, and basket toss side games are $10 for all in and nothing was deducted from anyone's pre registration for these cost and if you like to get into these extra $$ winning and prize winning experiences it is $10 for all in so please plan your finances accordingly at check in. Please note we are making the BASKET TOSS extra special for this event for the basket toss winner will win a full metal brand new double chain basket and the top 5 closest during the preliminary round will throw off in the finals for the basket with the closest person winning the basket and the other 4 contestants winning a disc of their choice. So 5 prizes are given away during this side game event (1 Full Metal Double Chain Basket & 4 Disc of the player's choice). 4 throws for $5 for basket toss, ace pool $2, cash ctp $3 = $10 for all in. TD will be sponsoring a free extra gift packed CTP's (3)

Remember the gate fee to get access to the resort is $10 per day so Friday is the same so if you decide to come out that day there is that minimal fee. But with the $10 it is not just access to the resort and the disc golf course it is also access to the outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub, billiard room, game room, lakeside fishing etc..

Anyone interested in staying in a hotel approximately 10 minutes from the resort course and would like a reasonable rate I am looking for 1 or 2 people to stay in my room. (1 person $50 per night) (2 people $25 each per night) for Friday and Saturday night. My cost for those 2 nights is $325 so I am just trying to recover less than a 1/3 of the cost. The hotels I am staying at our national chain hotels with a pool and free hot breakfast. Must like dogs for my gentle giant labradoodle (Zeppelin) will be with me. You do not have to stay at the resort to play in this event for you may commute or stay at an off site location (other hotels are in the area of Fremont and/or Port Clinton and are only about 15 minutes away. Do not miss your chance to play this event for due to change in management and procedures this may be the last year the Ohio Amateur Championship is played at this one of a kind temporary private resort course with all the extra amenities.The 12 extra champion level holes which makes the 21 hole layout is only in for 1 week each year so do not miss your chance to play this unique, fun, and challenging course. Saturday's layout is the same for rounds 1 & 2 but then on Sunday for round 3 & the final 9 the course is reversed and the 12 champion temporary holes are played in reverse order where the tee pads become the basket location and the basket locations become the tee pad locations, very unique and the course plays totally different.
