Hello Disc Golfers!
Thanks so much for choosing to play in the 2021 Lake Claiborne Championships this weekend. It means a lot to us. It's hard to believe it's already been a year since we last saw everyone! We hope you all have a great time. Please read this email in its entirety. THIS EMAIL IS THE PLAYER MEETING!!! We will be updating everyone via email and the Facebook page if we need to add anything, forget something, (which I'm sure I did) or if something crazy happens.
On to the details:
Tournament Headquarters:
Tournament Headquarters will be located in the parking lot of the Nature Center this year. That includes registration for doubles, player pack pick up, and payout.
Pools and Course Schedule:
Friday: Player Pack Pick Up and BYOP Doubles on Whitetail from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m
Saturday 7:30 a.m.-8:30 a.m.- Player check-in at tournament central. EVERY PLAYER MUST CHECK-IN PRIOR TO THE START OF THE FIRST ROUND!!!
Saturday 9:00 a.m. tee time for Round 1
Saturday 1:45 p.m. tee time for Round 2
Sunday 9:00 a.m. tee time for Round 3
Pool A - MPO, MPM, MPG, MA1
Round 1 Whitetail / Blue Tees
Round 2 Dogwood/ Blue Tees
Round 3 Whitetail / Blue Tees
Pool B - MA2, MA3, FA1, FA2, FA3, FA40
Round 1 Dogwood / Red Tees
Round 2 Whitetail / Red Tees
Round 3 Dogwood / Red Tees MA2 will play Blue Tees Round 3

AN ALL DIGITAL EVENT:
There will no be "board" for this event. All scores, hole assignments, start times, ect will be on the PDGA event page found here: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/52749
Your starting hole will be posted each night before 8:30 p.m.
Score Keeping:
Each card will have 2 players keeping score. One person will be keeping the score on the PDGA digital scoring page. A second player will keep score on a paper card. The paper cards are going to be given out when you check-in. This is just a checks and balances type thing. The paper card does not need to be turned in! It's just to double-check the player keeping the score on the PDGA scoring page.
EVERY CARD MUST KEEP A DIGITAL SCORECARD!!! YOU'RE ENTIRE CARD WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF YOU DON'T!!!!!!!!! CHARGE YOUR PHONE! DON'T FORGET TO FINALIZE YOUR SCORE ONCE THE ROUND IS OVER!!!!!!

Water:
We will have 2 water jugs on each course. Please bring plenty of water with you.
AM Payout:
Payout will be done via the DD RV. You must pick your payout up there. Payout will not be available online or at any other DD store with the exception of the DDNWA store in Springdale, AR. We will have the payout ready about 20 minutes after the last card comes in on Sunday. If you leave before you pick up your payout, you forfeit your payout. We will not ship out the payout. Payout will be posted on the PDGA event page under "Projected Payout" once the first round starts.
PRO Payout:
The payout for Pros will be done via PayPal. PayPal should hit your accounts by 5:00 p.m. on TUESDAY (I'll be out of pocket Monday for a family engagement). IF YOUR PAYPAL IS DIFFERENT THAN THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU SIGNED UP WITH, PLEASE LET US KNOW BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
OB Sheets:
OB sheets will be available in 2 different places. OB will be listed on the digital scoring page and at the bottom of this email. Please read the OB before you throw a hole. If you have any questions about how to play a hole, play your provisional and bring it back to us after the round. If you want a physical copy of the OB sheet, please print one out and bring it. We are going paperless for all our events.
Speed Limit:
Please be aware of your speed while in the park. The campground is full for the weekend and there will be children in the park Trick-Or-Treating for Halloween. YOU WILL GET A TICKET IF YOU SPEED!!!
Quiet Hours and Park Rules:
Quiet hours in the park start at 10:00 p.m. Please obey that. Don't ruin a good weekend for others by acting crazy after hours. Do the crazy before 10:00 p.m. :). The park has a new head of security. They are very excited about the event this year. However, they WILL be writing tickets for littering. They also ask that you please not park in the grass anywhere around the park entrance building
