I posted this on the course page as well but just in case…Okay so im bummed. During DGLO I threw my disc into a tree. Played from it, but left it behind because of it not being on the ground I guess. Habits. Anyway, realized 1 hole later, but did not want to hold up tourney. Also expecting that we are at an A-tier and we are the ONLY ppl at the course, ppl would put found discs in lost and found. I went back after round and it's gone from tree and NOT in L&F. I' ... more

i found your disc on sunday and returned it prior to payouts

John Minicuci   June 6, 2014 at 12:26pm

All L& F discs were given to Bill Gilbert of A3 and I believe he was going to give them to the Metroparks office at HM. Tyr celling them to see if it is in there or contact Bill to see if he would help guide you to who you need to contact.

Brian Hoppe   June 11, 2014 at 11:19pm

Thank you both. I checked the L&F table at least 10 times before I left on Sunday but there I a chance I missed it. Thanks again.

Couldn't ask for anything more this weekend. Great job to all involved! The toboggan is the best it has ever been. Thank you Kensington Metropark for cutting all that nasty nastiness outta there! A world class course and event! Congrats everyone!

Great tournament John Minicuci and your entire staff! Everything ran smoothly and the course was awesome for this first-timer. I will be back next year! Do you have a spot on the Discraft team for an old guy?

Don't tell me Wysocki bomb didn't drop that forehand of death up old 4's hill for a deuce on one of (hell, maybe all 3) of those rounds last year. But I don't even think he could stick a 2 on the new layout

Eirik Kauserud   June 2, 2014 at 8:25pm

My comment still stands! Not a course improvement!

mark ellis    June 2, 2014 at 4:04pm

Oh, btw, whatever fool they had announcing the Awards ceremony for the Pros failed to thank the Staff for their superb efforts in running the event. TD John Minicucci had a bevy of Assistant TDs: Chris Leo, Keith Aten, Pad Timmons, Jeff Schwass, Matt Rinker, Mark Stephens, Todd White, Dan Gipe (Security/ Cadaver Disposal), plus a staff and spotters backing them up. Title sponsor Discraft made the event fly.

First time back to the Toboggan since the original opening in 2000!! Course looked absolutely beautiful.

The hardest working man in disc golf proved it again, running two A tiers, simultaneously, 30 miles apart. Thursday, the day before the Pros started at the Toboggan, he and Chris Leo installed the rubber mat tee pads. This is hard work because they had to make the tee area flat and smooth before rolling out the mats and staking them down. Then after the first round on Friday night, John and Chris went back out to repair the pads which became lumpy from use. A TD who is not afraid to get his ... more

Agreed!!

Stephen Howard    June 2, 2014 at 9:42am

Left a dynamic discs chair under the tent with my last name in Sharpie on it. Anyone pick it up? Also, a friend and I each lost a Tern on the course Thursday if anyone found either.

Great tournament, thanks again for all those involved with running it and the spotters for keeping the flow of play smooth!

Mark Stephens   June 2, 2014 at 6:44am

Yes, I picked up our chair

Stephen Howard   June 2, 2014 at 9:05am

Excellent, I'm afraid it may be awhile before I'm back in Michigan. I'll hit you up when i plan to return and see if I can't get it back from you. Thanks!

Mark Stephens   June 2, 2014 at 9:13am

Ok. Some years some people from Ohio come up to play the Michigan Amateur Open. That is run by my club. If someone you knows is playing, I can pass it along to them. Or add to my TD pile of left behind chairs that I have...

John Minicuci    June 2, 2014 at 9:16am

Scores are posted here. Will work on PDGA tomorrow. I have to get some sleep before going to work in the morning. Thank you to all of the players for participating in a 220 player, 3/2 day, multi-Metropark course event. G'night Ya'll!

Looks like I left my 2 SE prodigy Pa1s around the rent somewhere after the final round today... No name or number in them, since they're only for putting. Also, a special edition prodigy D1, baby blue on hole 9 past the basket.
