We will have the scores posted soon enough so CONGRATULATIONS to all of the winners including the Chili Cook-Off, Cash, and Food drives. We will also post the official results before we head down to the Detroit Capuchin Soup Kitchen next Monday. I hope to have a current number for cash and weight by Thursday. So far, it looks like we are very close to being over $6000. You should all be proud!

The tee pads are all in great shape except 1 which is flooded. After BOBIS, Jay Binienda and myself cleared a few valleys for the water to drain. If the tee pad is flooded, we will set up a temporary tee pad near the practice basket. Wear plastic bags over your socks and inside your boots. It will be wet...

Here's a couple of things to remember about Sunday:
Receive one raffle ticket for every 5 cans of food (limit 10 tix).
You will be able to purchase Mulligans for $5 each:
Limit 7 for ams and limit 2 for pros.
Entry fees for Pros: $25 plus 2 new discs to add to am prizes
(we will have discs available for purchase at a discount rate for pros for their entry fee)
Entry fees for the AM's: All $20

Suggest streamers to help with tracking discs?
I also heard that pool chalk or chalk used for striking a construction line on the edges of your discs help.

Open #50652. Can we please get the bathrooms open!? I dont wanna **** my pants mid backswing.
Just make sure you throw the towel deep in the woods when finished in case another disc golfer finds it and shakes it up!
Doubles as a golf stool (no pun intended): http://cloudfront.zorotools.com/product/full/8AP46_AS01.JPG

For all those who are entering a pot of chili to the Chili contest, please add your name here or contact me. So far I have confirmation from : Brian Frawley (WolfPACK Discs), Mat Stivers, Jeff Schropp, and Josh Schulte.
FYI: We will have a couple of power strips plugged in to keep the Crock Pots of chili hot. Last year there were a couple of pots full of chili we kept on the fire to warm. Crock Pots work a lot better...

I have a question regarding the pledge sheet...at the bottom of the sheet, it says to collect pledges and bring the day of the event. If some of my pledges are per-shot, they won't know how much to pay me until the event is completed and I go to work the following Monday to tell them what my score was. Can I bring the money the following week?
Just have them pledge a one time amount, the per shot is to hard to do and than try and collect off that.
Derek is the king of the Pledge Sheet. He knows best. If they really want to pledge by shot then yes. Just plan on giving us enough time to add in what you collect before we go to the Soup Kitchen. Typically, we drop everything off on MLK day 2014 = Monday, January 20, 2014
I have a template that you can personalize and edit for you to use thanks to Derek. If you would like me to email it to you, send me a pm or text me...

Ok....So here we are again, it's time for everyone to start getting pledges to support the Detroit Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Just like last year, i'm putting up a $50 personal bounty for any one person that can beat my personal best donation of $540 and is the highest contributor this year. All you have to do is raise over $540 and be the highest contributor this year. If I personally raise over $540 and no one beats me i will donate the $50 along with my normal $20 contribution. Sad ... more
Derek, et al, I will match your $50 bounty for anyone who can beat your personal best. What up???
