So here I go...
I'd like to thank Sunnybrook and its entire staff for allowing "us" to take over their business for the weekend.
We couldn't have pulled this off without thanking those who allowed us to use the baskets: Chisolm, Chris Leo, Jeff Bauman, Josh Schulte, Damon Evans, Bart Black, and Discraft. Without baskets, we do not have an event here.
Monster Energy Drink - hooked us up both days...
Darren Harper, Joe Levell, and Mark Stephens and Flint Town Flyerz for donating items we used to bolster the raffle.
The entire staff who donated time during the days play to assist writing cards, scoring, and all other odd jobs during the day: Andy Hughes, Derek Michalak, and Andy "Rooster" Bawol.
Andy and Brian Buchholz for assisting Rob Stivers on building and tearing down our beloved disc golf course.
Many people have no idea how difficult it is to install and remove a disc golf course, 18 baskets, tee pads, flags, etc...
Rob Stivers almost single-handedly organized this Monster effort including perfectly hanging the Discraft banner on the triple mando hole.
All of the hundred and twenty seven players who participated this weekend - thank you - we raised over $485 dollars for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
Congratulations to all of the CTP, Ace Pool, 50/50, and Divisional winners.
Andy Hughes also assisted Chris prepare all of the scorecards that were pre-filled out based off of the Online Registration. This process really helped make the check-in process much smoother.
Finally, CONGRATULATIONS to Chris Leo who did an excellent job both days on his 1st PDGA event as a Tournament Director. With 127 players in 2 days, Chris main concern was that the players received and excellent event. I think he succeeded.
I hope I did not forget anyone and if I did I apologize - after pulling this event off, like many of my comrades, I am exhausted...
BTW, Chris posted the scores here and on the PDGA sites already. Nicely done Chris!
