You can attempt to win a berth Friday at the Last Chance Qualifier. There are 10 berths PLUS all of those berths that are not used (paid entry by the deadline). So let's say that 40 people who won a berth throughout the year did not register by the deadline, there would be 50 total openings into the state finals (10 original plus the unnused 40). The top 10 scores would get a berth package & the other 40 would just get into the event. So, this is why it is important for people who have won berths to register by the deadline. If they don't someone else is taking their spot.....
