Thanks to everybody that came out this year. This tuesday (10/28) is the last regulation round of the year. The playoff round will take place tuesday november 4th at 6:30 pm. I would like to apologize to everyone for missing so many weeks this year. My work has me doing a lot of traveling. I would also like to thank everybody that has stepped in to help out during the weeks i have not been able to make it. I just got back from a long alabama trip and have to leave again this weekend to return there. As a result the trophies will not make it in time to be handed out. However, i will get in contact with trophy recipients as soon as they come in and im able to get them delivered.
The playoff rules will be as follows:
Top 8 people will participate in the playoffs. Any tie for 8th place will be settled in a sudden death match. 1st and 2nd place are a team, 3rd and 4th are a team, and so on. There will be a throwoff for 50% of the ace pool after the last regulation round IF NO ACES ARE HIT DURING THE ROUND. If there IS an ace during the round 50% will be paid out as normal with no throwoff. The other 50% in either situation will be carried over to the playoff round. If there are no aces during the playoff round there will be a throwoff for the total remainder of the ace pool. If there IS an ace during the playoff round they shall receive 100% of the remaining ace pool amount
As for the playoff round itself, 1st place team will receive 50% of the playoff pot. 2nd place team will receive 25% of the playoff pot. 3rd and 4th place teams will split the remaining 25%. Bring your A game!!! Tie for 1st and 2nd place will be settled with a sudden death.
There will be a $10 buy in for the playoff round... $40 of this amount will go into your playoff ace pool, and the other $40 will be split into 2 $20 ctp's.
