They have started charging the $5 fee to play at The Bear disc golf course at Compass Lake. However I just talked with the mgr. and he said if anyone wants to come play this Saturday morning @ 7-7:30 he would wave the $5 fee. If you do want to play that early, and free, you need to let me know by Friday around noon so I can let them know how many people are coming.
We also discussed having our next BTC there on July 6th. The course will provide drinks, no alcohol beverages, for every nine holes we play. SO we play a full round of 18 you will get two drinks. They are also going to reduce our price for the day to $4 to play. This being a new course in a community that really wants to bring championship disc golf to their area and is a course we need and want to play, make sure to come on out and play this course. There is also talk of a tournament and one or two other things they want to do in the near future. You will not be disappointed as it has something from everyone.
