There aren't a lot of benches in Alaska, that I can think of. As far as short, fairly flat courses. Your local course is about as pleasant as it gets. In Anchorage you can try Westchester, I don't know what the setup is like now, but there isn't a ton of elevation change. Eagle River HS course isn't too hard either. For sitting alternatives, try something like these:
