I don't have to defend anything to you about what was said as the truth is still GLARING. I’ve already gave credit for what they’ve done, but that doesn’t give any of them the right to be the way they have. I’m sure others aren’t taking that away from them either, but that is not what is on trial here. It is the disgust, divide, and overzealousness that are on trial. Their egos are so large they confuse truth, passion, and nobility for what THEY think is right. There is still a divide in the community without me ever saying anything. I’m just the one that is saying what is on everybody’d mind collectively. There may be some that won’t agree with everything that is said, but I guarantee you that there are more that do agree than disagree. Eventually some might post their feelings and I hope they do.
If you’re going to challenge what I’ve done or haven’t done in AK, then you better have done something major here to be on a pedestal. If you haven’t in regards to the magnitude mentioned, then you’re just as bad as I and are contributing to this getting nowhere. Of course this is gleaned from the logic I’ve gained from your statements. I’m sure you’re not aware of what is truly going on here or you’ve only heard one side. We need a change and the torch needs to be passed, Chuck and John have had their shot; they did well AND they’ve done badly. In my mind their good is not enough to cancel the bad and they should still be held accountable instead of just letting it go. Why is it okay for them to hold others accountable for misdeeds and character defects they’ve been guilty of themselves, but the players, members, and the community can’t do the same to them? The members are the ones that voted these folks in and their say is just as important. There has been an earthquake in the disc golf community that has been felt to the core and NEEDS to be addressed. I’ll be the GD martyr if that is what it takes to be the catalyst that makes things change.
I want to hear things from the players involved, not defense from people that only know a glimpse of everything that is going on here day to day, month to month, and year to year. With that being said, I’ve already made statements in regards to what you’ve brought up that has been said by others. You’ve accomplished nothing new here. I don’t see how I’m a “terrible judge of character†as you only seem to know one side. It isn’t fair for anyone to make judgments on a person or a situation when you don’t know all or most sides of the story.
