Hey Jonny, You should just call it $20 each and put the extra $1.50 into the payouts, a ctp, ace/eagle pool or something.

To address the 4 drive per person per team issue: Good question D. It is not meant as any kind of handicap on my end for disc golf. I was simply following a common four person scramble as in ball golf. I have played in many of them and it is not something new. Golfsmith has the rules for a four man scramble but they list theirs as a 3 drive per person per team format: http://golftips.golfsmith.com/four-man-scramble-20277.html I have no problem making it 3 drives per person per team.

No spikes, haha, good one tho! The weather tonight (colder) should work in our favor. Just got off the phone with Sunnybrook and they say carts shouldn't be a problem. We just need to make sure we keep them out of wet areas like puddles, once it warms a little in the afternoon.

There is no way they will let us use carts in this slop.

lol

Darren Harper    December 21, 2012 at 10:11pm

Will the weather affect being able to use the carts and why not 4 man best shot using anyones drive?

i would imagine only using 4 drives for each person will prevent a team from only using the pro on the teams drive every time, kinda the same concept as worst shot if the ams cant drive that far and the pros have used their 4 drives

John Minicuci    December 21, 2012 at 6:12am

Bobis is $5 plus $1 optional for the Ace Pool. Sunnybrook is $5 plus $7.50 for the cart. It is $18.50 per person for everything.
For the format: I am thinking of 4 man scramble, random draw, with a twist. Each team has to use a minimum of 4 drives per player. If there are 3 on a team due to odd numbers then it will be a minimum of 5 drives per person per team.

So... Addison doubles this weekend at 1:00 right?

Jeff Bauman    December 12, 2012 at 8:36pm

Theres a love/hate relationship whith that format. Fairway or OB would be great (I think) at courses where the fairways are cut and well defined. OU & SC. Now for Sunnybrook, if you land IN a fairway you're OB on holes 1, 2, 3, 8, 9,10,11 & 15. It would improve the course big time, should be permanent too.

4 man scramble at addy next weekend?

Jeff Bauman    December 10, 2012 at 8:57pm

Just ADD Sunnybrook to the rotation. OU isnt so bad in the winter anyway. And I'm always in for anything besides random draw best shot. Best score, alt shot, worst shot, tough shot, switching teams partners, skins, scrambles, pro/am, rating based teams...

Also, when we do play best shot, we can get rid of the ever dredded 6 some by having 2 cali's. Something we'll be doing next year at Stony friday night league for sure.

Mike, John thank you kindly for the nice words. Ya Mike, there's always one. I concur with Addison this coming weekend, although I sadly will not be able to attend. I'm all for dropping OU and in it's place have a scramble at Sunnybrook on the 22nd.
