Weather

Seems like almost every Monday has bad weather this spring! But the hourly weather forecast says no rain later this afternoon. If that holds out to be true, we'll play league as scheduled (sign up 5:30, tee off 6:00). If it's really raining (not just drizzling) we'll cancel for today.

Hope to see you out there!

No league tonight

Hey everybody, due to scheduling conflicts the league will not meet tonight. Some people may get together for a casual round around the same time, but nothing official. I hope to see you all next Monday!

Handicap calculations

If you're wondering how your stroke adjustment (handicap) is calculated, here's how it works:

Stroke adjustment is calculated by averaging the scores of the last 5 rounds, subtracting 52 (the course scratch score), then multiplying by 0.8. This number is rounded to the nearest whole number to make the stroke adjustment.

Basically, you get 80% of your average strokes above scratch (52).
