24 Chains is a group of highly dedicated Disc Golfers whom fear no weather, play year round at courses throughout lower Michigan. We meet at course chosen by the members earlier on in the week, at a time and day that works best for the majority. Winter time we play Sundays at 10:00 at a course chosen on the Friday prior.
Usually rounds are doubles but we will also play singles, ChaChi, ript, one disc wonder, quarter sack, and are always open to new games and format ideas.

What's a cash round mean? How much?

Dan Whitlock   4 days ago

5 bucks for cash payout at the end... or a disc I believe.

Brian Crouch   4 days ago

word i think i'll head up there. Haven't played water works since the winter so i probably should get a round or 2 in there before the ace race

July 4th VICTORY!

The voting was close, as it often is with the pirates. Do we celebrate independence at Independence, or cheer our victory at Victory? That was the question that quickly rose in the voting. With a little seesawing and attempted bribery, the victory goes to Victory.

Tis a long sail to get there for most, but Victory Park is well worth the effort, and a fitting place to celebrate this holiday! So bring all your patriotic cheers and jeers and sail with the pirates as we bring in the next year of freedom!

What time for tee off?

Dan Whitlock   July 4 at 2:37pm

Tee off will depend on time people get there. It's a long haul, so if everyone is there in time, 6pm. If everyone is early, we will tee off earlier.

Friday Cass Benton, Meet 5:30 tee 6:00 SHARP

Bring you A game for this one. We are heading out to play this little known course out in Northville. Rolling hills and a majestic splendor that can only be rivaled by Toboggan. The upkeep from the city is as top notch as the casuals that play here. I am smitten with all the splendor and delight ahead of us as we embark on this game of games on the course of courses. Please, present your self near the parking lot of 13 for reg and get ready to rumble. Tarzan, Dirt McGirt, Mace and of course free range pitbulls.

Angel Gilbert   June 4 at 10:47pm

just to add a note to that its not seeing very good upkeep. there is a lot of down trees, glass like crazy, and the grass hasnt been mowed for a minute. Its my new home course so i know. just a heads up.

Dan Whitlock   June 2 at 2:45pm

Where to this week?

So this week we got the following courses to choose from...

Gultch

Indy

8 Mile

and good ole Cass Benton

Final Friday at Pirate's Bay

A quick congrats to the pirate bagger Scotty Reslock. He finally cashed in on the growing ace pool and took home yer loot. Boo this man, then ask him for advice cause he's obviously better than you! That said...

Final Friday folks! You know what that means, Happy Hour Ca$h Round at Pirate's Bay! Perfect mix of short and long shots with open field and wooded holes along the Huron River. Bring yer dirties, quarters and wooden legs and come hobble along with the pirates of 24 Cha!ns at our home course!

The votes have been tallied and the pirate ship will dock on the shores of Ford Lake this week. The plains of Lakeshore offer 30 holes for us to plunder without time restrictions and there is talk of a second round of glow with the Midnight Ballers afterward. Bring yer dirties and quarters (for the 3 trees you might hit) and come grab that ace pool if you're worthy! Meet as usual at 5:30, tee off at 6.
