Tiebreakers For The Playoffs

After week 18 the playoffs begin. In the case of ties, tiebreakers will be as follows:

1. Most wins
2. Most points from cashing (including points for aces)
3. Most points per week
4. Sudden death playoff

Week 7: The Black!

All divisions will play "The Black". Its an 18 hole loop that uses 9 holes from the front 18 and the new back 9. We'll play holes #3 thru #7, then #15 thru #27. Map and instructions will be on the scorecards.

Week 6 Results

Great night for discin!

Jared Roan ties the course record tonight at -6 and wins the pro division.
There was a 3 way tie at -4 in the ams. A playoff ensued and Brent Moreno and Christian S came out on top.

The $2 CTP was won by Tokie winning 2 Glow Wizards a tee shirt and club mini.
The longest putt was won by Bent Moreno winning the Organic Wizard

No ace was hit bringing the total up to $310 ... oh boy! See you next week!

Week 5 Results

58 degrees and falling at tee off. Overcast and pretty windy.

52 (-2) won tonight in both divisions. 2J in the pro's and Bryan and Tom J in best shot.

Dan B won the longest putt and took home the organic Wizard.
Ryan Herzog won CTP and took home the Champ Firebird and Glow Wizard.

No aces tonight bringing the total to $228 for week 6.

Week 4 Results

Great weather for golf tonight 70, sunny and a bit breezy. 15 pros and 24 am's! Herzog took it down in the pro's with a -5 (49) . Krystal and Ryan Q won the best shot game with a -1 (53) Mango won the CTP and took home the champ firebird towel and mini. Schulte won the longest putt contest and took home the organic wizard. The pro's had a 6 way tie for 3rd place and $27 so we played off for the money where the winner takes all. that's why 3rd place won more than 2nd place tonight ... more

Week 3 Stableford Results

Great weather 65 and sunny. 35 players. Good times were had! Joe G won the $2 ctp and took home a Champ Roc 3, a mini and a towel Dan Bienkowski won the longest putt contest on hole 2 by scoring a 3 on the hole by draining a 100+ foot fairway ace. Nice shot. TWO Baskets For TWO Ams Champs Again

It looks like we will again be able to give away TWO Innova DISCatcher Sports this year to TWO Am's at the end of the year.

Week 1: ACE!

Already hitting aces! Walker hit #7 tonight for $52 bucks. Hes also got 2 points for an ace putting him tied for the league lead. Nice shot!

Coldest opening day ever maybe?
-7 won it for the pro's and -9 took it in doubles.
Dan Bienkowski won the Cryztal Buzzz CTP.
B Rad won the longest putt contest and took home a club stamped Challenger.

"How Do You Guys Play California?"

When the game is doubles and we have an odd number of players, the golfer who gets no partner is playing California or is the Cali. I don't know where this came from but that's what we call it. There are many different formats for California or odd dog in leagues in the area, this is how we do it here. If there is an odd number of players we'll have 1 cali. And instead of the dreaded 6-somes, well have 4 teams. Two doubles and two calis. We'll have two groups of 3 and not one group of 6. When ... more

If there is an odd number of players we'll have 1 cali. And instead of the dreaded 6-somes, well have 4 teams. Two doubles and two calis. We'll have two groups of 3 and not one group of 6. When its needed, we will ask the players before we draw for partners who wants to be cali to step aside and we'll randomly pick the two calis.

- You don't have to pay more or less to play cali
- If you win or cash you get paid as if you were two players.
- Cali gets one extra shot per hole.
- After you throw your mulligan, you can take the best shot of the two.
- If you ace, you only cash if it was your FIRST tee shot. Cali and 2nd shot aces do not get paid.
- You CAN win a ctp on your extra shot.

PLAYOFFS FOR BOTH DIVISIONS

This year the open division will have a smi-final playoff and then a final 4 player match for all the cash (last year was over $500) and the 2013 title. The top 6 point earners will have a chance to have their name engraved on the Stony Cup and become the 2013 open champion.

The doubles division will have a playoff similar to last years playoff. The champ(s) will win an Innova practice basket. Last year we gave away TWO baskets!

New point system for both divisions:
3 points for a win
2 points for cashing
1 point for showing up
