Major League Announcement

In case you missed league last friday, I wanted to get the word out you too. The am champion will win a brand new portable Chainstar this year!

In past years we've givin away a Skill shot to Ted Stoebling, an M14 for Cale Serecky, whatever that thing was Bill Sicora won and last year Krystal Fromm and Grag Silos both won Innova Discatcher Pros. This year it's gonna be a Chainstar for the champ and an Innova Discather Pro for the runner up. Cha ching!

Week 10 Results:

Just a beautiful night out. 70 degrees and sunny with a slight breeze. 54 players tonight...also a record. Still adjusting to getting bigger crowds out there so bear with me while I do my best and thank you to the guys helping out John and Jay! We decided to play all 27 hole from the shorts and get rid of that ace pool that's been growing since week 2. Someone was bound to sink one tonight! We decided to play all 27 hole from the shorts and get rid of that ace pool that's been growing since week 2. Someone was bound to sink one tonight! Binienda took care of that and took home the $550 and 2 extra points!

The hot score was -16 shot in best shot by Greg Hart and Christian S. Nice guys!
-13 (68) topped the pros 2J took home $40 bucks and 3 points for the win.

Josh Ballinger won the CTP contest and won the TS CryZtal Z Buzzz, Pro D Banger and club mini
Ryan Quackenbush (that's right) won the longest putt contest and took home the Pro D Magnet and the Discraft sunglasses.

We had $108 go into the ace pool tonight bringing it from $536 to $644. Minus the $550 Jay won tonight leaves $94 in the ace pool for week 11.

Week 10: Midway Already?!?!

Format: Holes 1 - 18 with a vote on long or short tees.

Playing 27 shorts is not out of the question, being the 2nd longest Friday of the season, but it has to be clear skies till dark.

Pros play singles
Ams play best shot

$2 Ace pool is for week 10 is capped at $550.
$2 CTP for a Club stamped CryZtal Buzzz, Pro D Banger GT and club mini.

$550 Ace Pool For Week 10

No ace tonight so the pot grows and is now capped at $550 for week 10!

-11 (43)took the win in singles and -8 (48) won best shot.
Josh Ballinger won the TS Glow Roc, TS Glo Wizard, embroidered Am Nats towel and club mini.
Matt Jasko took home a free DX Aviar for a nice long putt on #2.

Week 8 Results

There was a two way tie for first place in both divisions tonight. -2 in the ams, Brandon O and Josh Ballinger won the ctp playoff. In the pro's, -6 down won it and the playoff was won by B Rad and I.

Josh Ballinger won the Star Beast, Super Glow Wizard, club mini and towel.
Dan B won the longest putt contest and took home the Pro D Banger GT

The ace pool is now $442 and will be capped at $500 for week 9... boom!

Week 7 Results

Jaremy B and Josh B shoot -8 and win the ams division while Nitz and Frase tie at -4 to win the pro division.

B Rad also won the $2 ctp and won the sweet black CryZtal Buzz, towel and mini and Nitz won the longest putt contest and took home an Organic Wizard and a metal mini. Way to clean up!

No ace was hit bringing the total to $382 and it will be capped at $420 for next week. The remaining money will be rolled over to the next week. boom!

After week 18 the playoffs begin. In the case of ties, tiebreakers will be as follows:

1. Most wins
2. Most points from cashing (including points for aces)
3. Most points per week
4. Sudden death playoff

Week 6 Results

Great night for discin!

Jared Roan ties the course record tonight at -6 and wins the pro division.
There was a 3 way tie at -4 in the ams. A playoff ensued and Brent Moreno and Christian S came out on top.

The $2 CTP was won by Tokie winning 2 Glow Wizards a tee shirt and club mini.
The longest putt was won by Bent Moreno winning the Organic Wizard

No ace was hit bringing the total up to $310 ... oh boy! See you next week!

Week 5 Results

58 degrees and falling at tee off. Overcast and pretty windy.

52 (-2) won tonight in both divisions. 2J in the pro's and Bryan and Tom J in best shot.

Dan B won the longest putt and took home the organic Wizard.
Ryan Herzog won CTP and took home the Champ Firebird and Glow Wizard.

No aces tonight bringing the total to $228 for week 6.

Great weather for golf tonight 70, sunny and a bit breezy. 15 pros and 24 am's! Herzog took it down in the pro's with a -5 (49) . Krystal and Ryan Q won the best shot game with a -1 (53) Mango won the CTP and took home the champ firebird towel and mini. Schulte won the longest putt contest and took home the organic wizard. The pro's had a 6 way tie for 3rd place and $27 so we played off for the money where the winner takes all. that's why 3rd place won more than 2nd place tonight ... more

TWO Baskets For TWO Ams Champs Again

It looks like we will again be able to give away TWO Innova DISCatcher Sports this year to TWO Am's at the end of the year.

Week 1: ACE!

Already hitting aces! Walker hit #7 tonight for $52 bucks. Hes also got 2 points for an ace putting him tied for the league lead. Nice shot!

Coldest opening day ever maybe?
-7 won it for the pro's and -9 took it in doubles.

"How Do You Guys Play California?"

When the game is doubles and we have an odd number of players, the golfer who gets no partner is playing California or is the Cali. I don't know where this came from but that's what we call it. There are many different formats for California or odd dog in leagues in the area, this is how we do it here. If there is an odd number of players we'll have 1 cali. And instead of the dreaded 6-somes, well have 4 teams. Two doubles and two calis. We'll have two groups of 3 and not one group of 6. When ... more

If there is an odd number of players we'll have 1 cali. And instead of the dreaded 6-somes, well have 4 teams. Two doubles and two calis. We'll have two groups of 3 and not one group of 6. When its needed, we will ask the players before we draw for partners who wants to be cali to step aside and we'll randomly pick the two calis.

- You don't have to pay more or less to play cali
- If you win or cash you get paid as if you were two players.
- Cali gets one extra shot per hole.
- After you throw your mulligan, you can take the best shot of the two.
- If you ace, you only cash if it was your FIRST tee shot. Cali and 2nd shot aces do not get paid.
- You CAN win a ctp on your extra shot.

PLAYOFFS FOR BOTH DIVISIONS

This year the open division will have a smi-final playoff and then a final 4 player match for all the cash (last year was over $500) and the 2013 title. The top 6 point earners will have a chance to have their name engraved on the Stony Cup and become the 2013 open champion.

The doubles division will have a playoff similar to last years playoff. The champ(s) will win an Innova practice basket. Last year we gave away TWO baskets!

New point system for both divisions:
3 points for a win
2 points for cashing
1 point for showing up
