Quintessential northwoods disc golf! Yulga is a very fun course, and with 3 tee pads for nearly every hole, it is suitable for any skill level. A large variety of (mostly) pine trees give shape to the course, and many holes demand technical shots. Although there are not many long holes on this course (sans 18), there are several enjoyable routes and varying pin locations. The one thing missing that cannot be altered... elevation.

Been playing this course for years, and it always presents a challenge. Plenty of trees, so the emphasis is on precision and not power.

Yulga is a place made by disc golfers for disc golfers. College in Point wouldn't have been the same without the close proximity of this excellent course.
Heavily wooded, multiple tees and pin placements provide constant variety and ever-changing challenge. Great for all levels of players, and off the-beaten-path enough to retain it's unique charm, Yulga will always remain one of the best courses I have ever played.

Complex course. Three tee's per hole, & Alt. pin placements! A lot of small trees that can knock your disc right into the dirt, so plan a good flight path. Really no elevation changes, but it's hard 2 get tired of this one. Because you can always change it up one way or another.

Pros: Excellent variety of holes in terms of path, distance, and tree obstacles. Course is carved from tall trees with thin trunks. Mature forest provides for a memorably scenic round. Majority of holes have signs intact for all three sets of tees. Large, concrete tee pads and benches made from tree trunks. Most holes are 250-350 feet but require precise turns and fades in order to successfully negotiate trees. Finish the round with your best bomb drive (420 feet with trees guarding the basket a ...
