Deep 9 looks SWEET. All pads are done, and we will break them in this evening with a random draw "No more dancing on the dirt" doubles round. I can't give enough thanks to those who sacrificed their time on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and especially Saturday. Without your dedication, none of this could be possible. We got everything done without a single issue, cement rolled in at 8:00 sharp, and we were done pouring by 11:30 (aside from Jimmy the cement truck driver getting to his canoe trip late, sorry Jimmy). Everything was pretty much wrapped up by 2:30. Ike busted chops and kept the lot "secure", Jeff, Jen and BillE pulled course security Saturday night.
Besides the tee pads, we also did a bunch of other maintenance:
Andy Delong and Jim Scane worked on cutting a ton of stuff from Deep 1, 2, 7, and 9.
Spear squared did some trimming throughout the original.
Between Evans, Hyatt, and Jim Scane, a ton of stumps were removed.
Greg Barrett completed his project on original 16 teepad, looks great.
8 berm tee pad looks sweet, but someone with some big ass steel tow boots on threw from it yesterday and gouged out a big spot where they dragged their tow.
Aside from that, here is the roster of volunteers that helped, give them a thanks when you see them:
John and Lori (dont know last name)
Dean Evans (equipment)
Pat Breen (for not writing bad words in the wet cement)
City of Whitehall
Let me know if I missed anyone...
Just kidding about the gouge on 8 ANDY
See you tonight,

The Whitehall Disc Golf Club will be hosting random draw doubles on Monday nights until October. This will be a "filler" until we start out normal winter league on Sundays. Cost will be $3.00 and we'll do some ctp/lp depending on player numbers. We will start at the normal time. See you there. Bring your Ace Race Money if you can on Monday. Thanks

Kind of late notice, but there will be a few people at the course working on the #8 Tee pad tonight, feel free to stop by and lend a hand. Thanks

The Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department will be strictly enforcing this closure, and unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owners’ expense. Thank you for the cooperation and we apologize for the inconvenience.
