Dogs will no longer be allowed at the Whitehall Township Disc Golf Course (As of April 1, 2014). Please pass this information along. The WDG Club and the Board of Whitehall Township have discussed this issue, and agree that this is in the best interest of the township. Whitehall Township has had signs posted for multiple years requiring that dogs be on leashes (Muskegon County law) and picking up after your dog, both of which have been ignored by irresponsible pet owners. Contact the township or me if you have questions. Thanks

Main focus is having no dogs? Seems petty and IMO unnecessary. There are plenty of good dog owners who are responsible. How about vandalism and trash littering. Ban those. Or focus on those. Instead make rules that discriminate a perfectly proper place to take a dog "da woods"

Course maintenance party on Saturday, September 14, 2013. We'll be at the course around 9:00 a.m. with leaf blowers, chainsaws, etc. Come on out if you are free that morning. We can work on the Deep Deep 9 if we get enough help. If you have a chainsaw, wood chipper, hand saw, etc. feel free to bring it. The club will buy lunch for volunteers.

It is on Lorenson Road. Head east on Holton Whitehall road, turn right on Lorenson and the course is on the left.

Found a Z Glide on 13 yesterday. Has the name Donny on it. I tried calling the number but it didn't work. If anyone knows Donny, let him know his disc will be at whitehall this afternoon.

Please be advised that the Front 9 and Back 9 will be closed for league play tonight. The Deep will be open, but parking will be limited as well. Montague will be wide open. Please pass this information along. Thanks

We have discussed the large branch on Deep 9, and the consensus is that it adds character to that particular hole, we will however, trim some branches and make the approach to that hole more appealing.

The "Deeper 9" is coming along nicely. We cleared 3 more holes Saturday. 2 of them will have baskets soon. Thanks to all who helped out, we had a great turnout.
