After the rain ends Friday, do the courses out here dry pretty good or expect it to be playable but muddy?

Rolling hills will be muddy. More so on back 9. The ponds will be dry by tomorrow.

Foz Miller   April 6 at 12:42pm

We spread a lot of wood chips Friday and Saturday - mostof the muddy areas are covered. We could use double the wood chips to really make the course nice but it is looking great for early Spring.

Foz Miller   April 6 at 12:45pm

Note if you see the young workers on the Gators - Thank them for the amazing amount of wood chips spread. I had a wheel barrow and Brandon, Aaron, Ricky and three others started filling the gators and spreading the wood chips - Most of them play as well but a Thanks may just get them to feel that i ... more

Rained last night but I doubt any course is flooded from the rain..just wet on the surface again!

Nick Lamentola   March 31 at 11:57am

Yea you will be fine. If you haven't played rolling hills before you will love it. It's my go to course and I live 45 minutes away. Great combination of open throws with easy lanes and then tough throws with really narrow fairways.

richard bell   March 31 at 1:35pm

yea first time discing in the area. heard good things so anticipating the trip.

"Mag1c" Mike Visger    March 27 at 8:09am

All my Rolling peeps, we need some love. Belle Isle shirts available for a limited time. BUYS YOURS NOW! Only 1 day left on the OG shirt, and a few days on the 2nd and 3rd gen pieces. Help support our march towards building a world-class course! You get a wicked shirt, and we get to make things better for your discing adventures. Thanks for the love.

Sean Mannooch   March 23 at 12:36pm

love the shirts. gotta figure out which one i want! haha

Nick Oliver   March 23 at 12:43pm

The OG is going off tomorrow (but I will be adding it back this week in another color). Thanks for the support, Sean. See you out on the fairway soon enough.

Lee Thomas    March 20 at 5:04pm

What are the details on new course being built? I just recently heard about it. Looking forward to having another great course in southeast mi

Nate Mullins   March 20 at 5:44pm

Last I heard we're looking to have baskets sometime this spring and teepads next year. Everything is pretty much mapped out but I think there are a few things to work out regarding conflicts with the mountain bike trails.

Lee Thomas   March 22 at 10:36am

thanks for the info Nathan

Ben Calhoun    March 8, 2015 at 12:46pm

Sean Mannooch    February 28, 2015 at 11:32pm

friend lost an orange avenger on hold 4. left side halfway up the hill. And I lost a green gstar Daedalus on hole 11 up on top of the hill on the left side. it went past the trees in the middle of the fairway and about 15 feet off the left side of the fairway. Plastic or $$ rewards for either of their safe returns!

Foz Miller    November 14, 2014 at 4:13pm

If you are planning a event at Rolling Hills here is the coordinator contact information at the park to arrange events. They request even leagues that have more than 20 players let them know you are coming to help manage the park/course. Tournaments needs to be scheduled. I will post more info about the new course shortly. Steve Wyatt retires at the end of this year. If you have a chance to thank him for all that he has done for the park and the disc golfers please do so directly. Duck had ... more

Such an amazing course and dedicated folk behind it. Ty to all involved, and I know the entire scene is eager to check out the new developments!

Mike Michalak   November 14, 2014 at 9:42pm

FYI I believe Rhonda is recently married (not sure) but her last name is now Bouma. Had meeting with her on the Turkey & Chains event coming up in a couple weeks and her business card has Bouma as her last name on it.

peter kunoff   November 15, 2014 at 5:09pm

Foz. Big thanks for all you do. Proud to be your friend.

Nick Oliver    October 23, 2014 at 1:25pm

Come out and play a round (or 2 or 3 or more!) including Glow disc after dark. Help us celebrate our first full official season on the Isle. Hope to see some of my Rolling friends out there Sunday. More details here.

Note Rolling Hills Park closes at 6:30 PM now - winter hours - sign posted on booth window. Note that normally there is no longer anyone at the booth collecting money, so unless there is a big event (disc golf, H.S. cross country meet, sledding hill when snow falls, etc. ), there is no cost to use the park during winter. New Course progress - I mowed walking paths, tee pads and most of the pin placements on Holes 12, 13, 14 & 15 yesterday in the meadow. So now you can walk the course f ... more

I have a wheel that I use for construction estimating purposes. It is one for walking and measuring. You are welcome to use it. Hit me back if you want to use it.

Nick Oliver   October 23, 2014 at 1:26pm

Foz, sounds awesome. Rolling is already so nice, I cant imagine how much more awesome will be added! Working on the Belle Isle DDG project has opened my eyes to how much work is involved. So, to you and your help, much respect!

Foz Miller    October 17, 2014 at 3:09pm

This Saturday Oct 18th I will be working on the new course from 3:00 to 6:00. I'll also be there today - Friday - from 3:00 - 6:00. If you drive around the new area look for cars parked on the side of the road. Working in the woods (holes 3 & 10 - you can follow the existing fairways - you will find us. Even if you just want to come and get a look. You can now walk holes 1-11 & 16-17 no problem. Still plenty of work to clean up fairways, expand some holes and mow a few others. ... more
