Dropped a silver Ti Buzzz into the merk pond on hole 13 might be 15ft from waters edge, we were throwing shorts. Name and number on inside rim. Reward for return.

Douglas... I was actually just thinking about starting a longs only league too. Not sure about the PDGA thing though. Would that kind of thing only be open to current, active, members?
Douglas McIntosh June 20, 2012 at 12:40am
is anyone interested the idea PDGA Sanctioned singles League rounds at Lakeshore on Wed nights? all we would need is at least 5 players to get rated rounds each week. the league would only last 6 to 10 weeks. and I was thinking of it starting the week after the 4th of July. I was thinking of playing 18 longs every week. but I am open to suggestions.

The course is actually being mowed today, a few days ago I thought they were they had them running by the apartments and never went out, but I talked to maintenance yesterday about the basket and told them how they'd never finished mowing after running it after last time, they were unaware, and the mower is out today on the course, let's hope he doesn't run over another one!

They have it, on their way to go 'fix it' right now, we'll see. It may be repairable..
Mr. Self Destruct June 11, 2012 at 3:22pm
Instead of just letting someone with experience installing baskets do it for them? WTF?
Ben Calhoun June 11, 2012 at 3:12pm
Looks like they will be attempting to repair it themselves..good luck!

Talked to the 'mower people' just now, they will be paying for a new basket. Step #1- estimate of costs, Step #2- get check, Step #3- get basket and go!

Lakeshore maintenance decided Hole C's basket placement would work for them, so they took the mower to it. Course is now temporarily 27 holes.

Sportsmanship can be displayed on and off the Course..... Please keep this in mind as you are all setting examples of what is and isn't acceptable to the newer, younger Golfers that are just getting introduced to this website.

People making some jokes about a pic is no big deal. Maxim mag and other periodicals have contests like that all the. And no one really said anything malicous. Sure, it got a liitle out of control but most of it was all in good fun. But coming onto a public forum and asking people to call the cops and all that....That is when things start going arye. Lets just chalk this all up as cabin fever and all go throw some plastic and leave real life troubles on the tee pad ;)

Must've been shortly after I went in earlier. I'll try and get in again tomorrow to ensure the pilfering casuals don't get it Admiral.
