Earth movers + disc golf = lots of options to try out. Can they dig a few pot bunkers as well? I've always thought a nice hole would be a good hazard to add to a course. Thanks for the update, Fortch.

Because of the new water park, the park is taking a bunch of the earth they removed from the old Picnic area (holes 9 - 11) and moving it to Chuck D. #16. They asked us to help them essentially terraform the land with tons of earth. Hole #16 is totally different now. It has two giant mounds where it used to be flat. The giant mounds effectively create a wall on the right side of 13's fairway. Hole #15's slope has also been altered. #14 has will not be effected. All of this should be done by the ... more

You guys are great, thanks for the quick feedback. I am excited to here of new holes, that is fantastic. Guess I will wait a few weeks to head out to I Lake. I am sad that I never got to play Picnic.

Mike, new hole 16? So, did they replace the 13-16 with new holes as well as add 6 letter holes?

Yup. Sorry Steve. Picnic is a thing of the past.
Was out there this morning to mark the new locations for Holes A - F tee pads. The basket sleeves are set in concrete, grass seed has been put down. Now all were waiting for is the debris removal which is supposed to start early next week. There is s bunch of scrap metal, refrigerators, and other random **** buried in a few spots out there that need to be dug up and removed.
Then it's just a waiting game for the grass to take root. Pray for rain!
BTW, the new hole #16 is crazy sweet.

Picnic Course is no more Steve :( They are installing a new waterpark kind of area where a number of the holes used to be, so it was pulled earlier this for good. Chuck D is missing pins 13-16 right now because of the construction, however, the rumor is the new 6 holes go in end of this month :)

If you want to learn how to play better tags are a great way to challenge others better then you so that you can learn from them.

You are correct Dan, once you are out in the back of the course it's game on time, but, I have been seeing more of a casuals presence when there is no attendant. Summer time they have someone at the gate all day because the lake & water park open up, they are collecting $$$$ for the spike in activity. So it will tapper off soon as it gets warmer, but Rolling has someone at the gate almost all the time, no reason Washtenaw County cant get someone in the booth over at Indy ;)

The park has been notified (if they didn't already know) and hopefully they can get someone out in the booth over the next week or so. This aggression will not stand.
Let's try to get an ID on this "RIP" tagger, or at least a vehicle/license plate. This reminds me of a similar saga out in k-zoo, with the "poop" tagger. They eventually identified his vehicle, found his facebook and get him to stop without involving the authorities. Let's hope for a similar resolution here.
That's old news son! Mr. White was saying last night the new holes are close to going in and hole 16 will be epic! But yes, 13-16 will be down awhile
