No it didn't, way too late and hey Pete can I add a layout to my course BRATS somehow
Pete Crist September 29, 2010 at 4:20pm
Did it open up your eyes?
Scott White September 29, 2010 at 4:15pm
You saw a sign, Ben?
Ben Calhoun September 29, 2010 at 3:38pm
Good to know..went out today. Most people won't know it's closed ahead of time. I only noticed the sign after 2 rounds, when it is closed, you will need more signs at the entrance/tee #1.
Scott White September 29, 2010 at 12:18pm
Mike, it's not closed yet. The construction was delayed due to the rain yesterday. I'm waiting on a call from the park to make the announcement.
Mike Fortunato September 29, 2010 at 12:05pm
Just a reminder: The concrete pads are being installed this week. THE COURSE IS CLOSED. I will be sure to let everyone know when it is reopened, in all of it's concreted glory

Mike Fortunato September 24, 2010 at 11:18am
Plus the winds won't be in full effect until mid November. Why on earth would you want to play the Picnic with anything less than 30 MPH winds?
Mike Fortunato September 24, 2010 at 11:17am
One bad apple ruins the bunch. Lesson to be learned here: don't be an ****.
Scott White September 24, 2010 at 11:10am
Course goes in full time November 15th. Same thing as last year. Too many incidents and accidents with the nature class and picnicers.
peter kunoff September 24, 2010 at 11:05am
did i read that right? the picnic course baskets are going in for the weekend of Coop finale and union strikes but will be pulled for two weeks only to be re-installed 2-3 weeks later. what is the reasoning for this? are they worried about hitting sungazers around the beach?
Scott White September 23, 2010 at 12:54pm
I went out with the park staff this morning and outlined all 18 black tees with orange marking paint. Please do your best to not disturb the paint as it needs to stay there until Tuesday when they start to dig the concrete. Getting closer...
Scott White September 22, 2010 at 10:46am
Teepads on the Chuck D are scheduled to be installed starting Tuesday, September 28th. Course will be closed during construction. Let's hope that everything stays on schedule..

I lost a Pink Champ Katana on hole 11 on September 6. Had my info on it. I guess it's gone by now.

Course to open tomorrow (possibly AM). The tees are in, but the park has some work to do yet.
