When is 13-16 supposed to be back on line?

peter kunoff   December 10, 2012 at 10:19am

after the construction of the new waterpark is finished.....

Scott White   December 10, 2012 at 1:01pm

Well the waterpark construction isn't really a factor anymore. Ground settling time and grass growing time is. My best guess is Fall 2013.

steve nolff    November 15, 2012 at 5:40am

Walked away from an old orange elite x, XL on Sunday. Would love to get this well practiced fairway driver back. Angry man symbol on back... >:o

Scott White    November 8, 2012 at 3:49pm

Just heard from the park, extra hole loop with brand new concrete tees will be open tomorrow (Friday) morning. Lets all give a big thanks to Indy Lake who paid for the whole shebang!

Bout to be the best course in SE michigan.

12 more teepads have been poured ! The extras now have cement, but the baskets are out for a couple days while the cement cures! Can't wait!

Adam Matthews    October 1, 2012 at 1:03pm

LOVED this course. Absolutely more fun and better looking than Hudson. Mo' better for sure. Can't wait for all the holes to be completed. Totally worth the $9. Thanks for pushing me to play here.

Matt "The Spider" Swider    September 30, 2012 at 10:38am

I'll be at Indy at noon today for anyone who wants to join. I haven't gotten out here in a while.

Shaun Adkins    September 28, 2012 at 11:02am

Yes to rolling hills. No to goldenrod.

Nate Wheeling    September 28, 2012 at 10:59am

Please also consider the current course condition, aesthetic qualities, and hole/line variation.

Mike "Papa Par" Even    September 28, 2012 at 10:58am

If you play Indy then your day pass will work at Rolling as well. Holly Woods is great, but will need your State Passport just a heads up before driving that far north. All your choices are great.

Adam Matthews    September 28, 2012 at 10:55am

Really appreciate the responses!! I love this community!

We're coming from up north and we played Kensington two weeks ago (LOVED it!). We wanted to play Hudson and a course neither of us have played. We're considering: 1) Independence Lake, 2) Rolling Hills, 3) Holly Woods, and 4) Goldenrod.

If Saline wasn't so far south of AA, we'd definitely check it out. The pictures make it look great. Too bad there aren't more holes.

Nick Pacific    September 28, 2012 at 10:40am

Depends on the time of day. Kensignton is pretty sweet in its own right and the two aren't comparable, very different. Indy has the advantage of the fact that it has MUCH less traffic.

So Id say Adam if your playing early go to Kensignton. (weekday ok to tee off < 3pm, < 1pm on weekends) Any times later than that and the casuals will back you up and annoy you (terrible at Kensignton).

The blessing of Indy is that its never busy and the traffic there is usually only regulars.

Nate Wheeling    September 28, 2012 at 10:25am

Everyone is entitled to an opinion Nick, but I've got to believe that most DG'ers would agree that Indy > Kensington.

g lane    September 28, 2012 at 10:22am

saline for sure. well worth the drive. thank us later.

Nancy Leat    September 28, 2012 at 10:19am

I played here yesterday and the gravel tees are quickly becoming just dirt tees. Got a lot more traction on my drives yesterday than before. Thanks to whoever pushed all the gravel off the letter tees....yay!!!!

Nick Oliver    September 28, 2012 at 10:06am

I would go to Kensington. Only about 30 minutes from Hudson and much better than Indy, even though I do like Indy. Gravel tees are horrid.
